I certainly hope not since I'm allergic to them. Oh yeah, that's right, I won't have any allergies there. OK, I certainly hope they ARE there. I love dogs.

I don't believe God will deprive us of anything that is not sinful in heaven since He will want us to be happy. Dogs make most people happy. I suppose cats make some people happy, but I can't imagine why.

Well, Immanuel Kant would have agreed with you. However, I suppose my question would go further.Does the proposition of Utilitarian ethics challenge the Christian understanding of animals in relation to humans? Well, obviously that's almost rhetorical, as it does. However, the question becomes, since Dogs have spirits, do they have soul's in any sense? What is a soul?If you answer that it's the immaterial component of your self, I would say that that is the Spirit. The Spirit returns to God, as the body to ashes. However, what is a Soul? Sometimes Jews speak about a doctrine even mentioned by Justin Martyr, concerning how Souls are already made and were made at the dawn of creation, just waiting for a body. Are we the only vessel for such a thing, as we are in some way considered "in the image of God"? That poses a problem, because I came to the conclusion that "in the image of God" was defined as having a soul. I mean, in every other way we are not distinct from animals, except in quantity of any trait, such as rationality, learning capability or understanding.Or, does, somehow, the fusion of Spirit and flesh, make possible the soul? If so, do animals, who have both, also develop a soul?Or, are we said to have a soul simply on the basis of the promise of the resurrection day?Of course, I'm just trying to make this more interesting. Anyone else want to help make it interesting? Post something intelligent or controversial!

I have absolutely no idea what a soul or a spirit is. One is the life of the body. One is everything that we are, think and believe. One has a knowledge of a Supreme Being that we call God. Animals don't have that knowledge. Some animals have emotions like we do. They certainly have life, but then so does a plant or a microscopic creature. Life certainly doesn't indicate intelligent.I don't believe that animals go to heaven as humans do. In that case, which ones would go to heaven and which ones to hell? I do believe that there will be animals in heaven but not in hell, and no I can't prove it. They will be there for our pleasure and will be completely tame no matter what they are. Whether or not they will be the pets people had here I don't know, and don't think anyone does. God could easily raise up those dead beloved pets and put them in heaven, because NOTHING is too hard for Him.

The Soul is the Spirit which has the Breath of Life in It. The Essence of Mind, Will, and emotion. The Inner Man that dwells within our flesh

Absoulutley there are animals in heavenIsaiah 65:25The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain," says the LORD.

I hope there will be animals in heaven. I have had a series of different pets throughout my life. I don't have any pets now, but I have in the past. i had a hamster when I was little, my sister had a hamster, the two hamsters got into a fight and bit my sister. My poor sister was in pain, she went to the doctor and had to get stitches. I think it left mental scars on her, maybe ever since then she dislikes animals, or just rodents. We've had birds, parakeets and cockatiels, cats and dogs. I had a wonderful dog, he was a cute, pretty blond cockerspaniel, a very sweet and gentle dog named Lucas. I loved Lucas very much. I had a rabbit whih died becasue of my stupidity. I had a cat, a Persian cat named Crissy, she was sweet but ssickly, she had trouble with her resporitary system, she died after a few years. We got another cat, a mischievous alley cat, a calico who was mean, she eventually started biting and scratching me, so we sent her back to the cat depot. I hope I will have some of my nice pets when I get to heaven. I would like to have Lucas and Crissy, and some of my sweet birds. I like horses but have never been lucky enough to own a horse.

I hope they have unicorns and Pegasus in heaven. Maybe some butterfly fairies too.

I believe that there will be animals in heaven, but maybe animals of a different kind, all will be harmless, ya know we get rewards in heaven and we may get pets up in heaven. And maybe we will see more animals like this...... :O
