I can only repent of ....
... mistakes in life where you acted similar to Saul's kin:

2 Sam. 16:5 Now when King David came to Bahurim, there was a man from the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei the son of Gera, coming from there. He came out, cursing continuously as he came. 6 And he threw stones at David and at all the servants of King David. And all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left. 7 Also Shimei said thus when he cursed: “Come out! Come out! You bloodthirsty man, you rogue! 8 The Lord has brought upon you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned; and the Lord has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son. So now you are caught in your own evil, because you are a bloodthirsty man!”

Let me get out my Donald Trump Study Bible and ponder a few passages. :D
Did he get his own book yet? Everyone should be waiting breathlessly for that. If Miriam Adelson has her way, we should be seeing a 67th book soon in our Bibles. With the money she and her husband have made from casinos, she might get such a book added.

Does Miriam Adelson really think Donald 'go back' Trump still deserves his own book in the Bible? | Opinion

Miriam Adelson, one of the world’s wealthiest and well-connected Jewish philanthropists, recently expressed her hope that the Bible would soon be welcoming another canonical text: the Book of Trump.

"Would it be too much to pray for a day when the Bible gets a 'Book of Trump,' much like it has a 'Book of Esther' celebrating the deliverance of the Jews from ancient Persia?" Miriam Adelson writes an op-ed in the paper she and her husband own: MIRIAM ADELSON: A time of miracles

I suspect many lean towards giving him a book in the Bible.....lol.

On a serious topic, I was reading last week and it is really amazing what he has accomplished in such a hostile environment as modern day Babylon(D.C.). It was loud, brash, and often inappropriate....but he really has gotten a lot done. I was surprised, anyway.

I wonder what you were reading and where. It looks to me as if the country is falling apart in more than one way. I thought the Jews would have been building that Temple by now! Hurry, get that Temple built so the Antichrist can show up; then we have the tribulation and then Jesus can come.

Loud, brash and inappropriate? Yes, and sad to say there have been several Democrats who got sucked into being crude and inappropriate. Maybe they think that's how to win.

Worse than that! They are HATE filled murderers. I have no doubt that when the Dem/Commies/Satanists obtain power conservatives will be exterminated.

Revelation 13:7 (NKJV)
7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

I'm waiting for Jesus to show up at a Trump rally. If Jesus really wants Trump to win, he'd show up, wouldn't he?

I am not sure how anyone could ignore what his administration has accomplished for the good. But I know many Republicans who are blind to the accomplishments of the Clinton and Obama administrations as well.

I guess thats a good thing about being an Independent. I do not trust either party and while I would never vote Democrat I do not come anywhere near pledging my voice to the GOP.

I have switched parties over time. I was a Republican until Trump won the nomination. I'm a Libertarian now. Whatever good Trump has done pales in comparison to the harm. Our national debt is now larger than GDP. We're on the path to becoming a banana republic. Spending was already ridiculously high before the pandemic with records being broken. With the additional funds being spent, we're in really serious trouble now.

Our international alliances have broken down. China and Russia have stepped in to fill the void.

I tend to favor small government myself, but I also favor accountable and transparent government. When I see how many times Trump has tried to get around Congress to get what he wants -- and being slapped down by the courts -- I can't see him as standing for law and order. I see him trying to make government dysfunctional. He's undermining the government and the trust of the American people in government. Congress is supposed to decide how money gets spent -- but Trump tries to get around that. So much time is wasted by cases going to court -- with Trump usually losing.

His tactic is pretty obvious: Undermine others and then grab power. He's attacked the press, the FBI, Congress (including Senators of his own party), and judges. He doesn't bother to nominate people to some jobs -- he likes having people who haven't been confirmed by the Senate. He just lost a court case over one of them too.

I was a Republican until Trump. The GOP gets my vote this election but I will not identify with a political party again. The only thing I can say is I will never vote Democrat unless the party drastically changes its platform (I will not vote for anyone associated with the DNC, even though I have liked a few).

There are things I like about the Libertian party (probably more with the conservative fringes of the party). But I will refrain from being a party guy.

Given Trump's negative attitude and contentious reaction toward anyone who criticizes him, I can't help but think that if Jesus showed up at one of his rallies and He told Trump to repent and turn from his sins, he would say to Jesus, "Who are you to tell me what to do?" Trump has a well known history of lambasting anyone who personally and politically opposes him. He cries foul whenever someone criticizes him in public.

I really don't like how the Democrats almost insist on being "pro-choice" in order to be a Democrat. Governor Casey (father of current Senator Casey) was supposed to address the DNC one year. He got cancelled since people were afraid he might say something "prof-life."

But I also think passing laws about abortion probably won't fix things. Reducing poverty is probably more important. Making sure women have healthcare is also critical -- as is housing.

There are some Libertarian candidates that strike me as downright weird. I was hoping Governor Weld would run this time as a Libertarian. I've always liked him. He was their VP candidate in 2016, but the presidential candidate couldn't get anywhere. The thing about being an independent is that you don't get to vote about who the candidates will be. I've switched parties so I could vote for someone I liked when I didn't really like anyone running in my own party.

Indeed, and on the other hand, if you flatter him, he'll flatter you back. It may be one of his downfalls since he surrounds himself with lackeys -- and no one seems willing to tell him unpleasant truths. I think he lost some really good people over this personality trait of his that interprets flattery as a positive thing.

Abortion is my primary concern. I could absolutely love a party but if it is pro-abortion then I cannot give my support. I think abortion is eternally worse than slavery and in the future people may look back (like we do with slavery) unable to comprehend how Christians can be blinded by their own narrative.

I do not think people like me, who are very pro-life, are even able to see abortion in proportion to its true evil because we are also within the narrative of our culture.

I can agree with that. But Jesus Christ didn't flatter people when He called them to repent of their sins. He used words like brood of vipers and whitewashed tombs whenever He called out the self-righteous hypocrites who thought they were morally upright compared to other people.
