And one from the humor thread... With some people just reading a chapter out of the Bible is grounds for all kinds of predictions!

This woman says that the Lord has given her a dream. In the dream the Lord tells her that “Brother Joshua has done his role, Brother Joshua has done his role. He announced to the world, and it was not for him to interpret.” The Lord, she says, took her to the Julian calendar and showed her that the date of the rapture is December 3 / 4, 2025.

Remember: “These are the words of the Lord. ‘Now it’s September.’”

If you’ve hung in there with them this long, enjoy your Thanksgiving plans (if you have any) and go ahead and mark December 3 / 4, 2025 on your calendar.

A new message from her.

She says the Lord has shown her that the rapture will happen on December 24, 2025.

If you have plans for Christmas … go ahead and mark it on your calendar. She’ll have a new story on the 25th or being working on one.

Tsizwe issues a public apology for his false prophecy and steps away from ministry.

Desperate times bring desperate hopes.

pryrw

Welcome to the forum.

I agree with the general premise that desperate times bring desperate hopes.

Why do you think the false prophets are desperate? Why do you think Christians who believe the false prophets are desperate?

Welcome to the forum.
Thank you.

Thanks.
Why do you think the false prophets are desperate? Why do you think Christians who believe the false prophets are desperate?
I think we are prone to believing false end time ,second coming, prophets because this world is so chaotic and dark.
We live through it. And in the security that hope and faith instill within us.

At the same time we want it all,the darkness, the chaos, the madness that has instilled itself into the natural laws of God, to just stop!

And the only way it shall is if God does this.

And I think that's why people believe end times dates are likely to occur. Jesus will arrive and save us yet again from the evils here.

We're so ready for the old Earth ways to be cleaned and made right. It's understandable desperate people will cling to desperate hopes.

Picture someone in the sea. They've been told beforehand that no one knows if drowning people in the sea will be rescued from their plight.

Yet,there they are. And they're drowning and there's no land,no boat,no thing to cling to once they are exhausted treading water.

Suddenly what looks like a life preserver appears just a little ways out of reach.

Is it reasonable to think that desperate drowning person will use the last of their strength to reach that life saving device?

And when they do,if they do, turns out that life preserver is made of paper and with a life preserver image printed upon it.

It isn't truly a life saver.
Because as the drowning person was told previously, no one knows the date or time such a thing will arrive to save them.

Do we blame them for reaching for that printed paper?
No.

Desperate people cling to desperate hope.

Because the power of all creation told us to keep hope alive. Yet understand,we will never know when we will be rescued.
