How on earth do you edit and not show you edited? (adding sincere)
Because I was going say, not so much as the number but of what mindset, are they more liberal (or so open minded) that they fall into this sort of thing?
We can all be sincerely wrong.
Immediately after I posted it, I edited it. I don’t know why it didn’t show. I don’t have any control over it.
They’re ignorant and gullible.
The Lord has not spoken this prophesy to Joshua. The Lord has not spoken this prophesy to the man in India. The Lord has not spoken this prophecy to anyone. There are no confirming signs or dreams from the Lord for this prophesy, though thousands of people are claiming that they are.
These people are deceived and deceiving.

I would be curious as to how many stuck around after the fact, and continue to follow the person, that would blow my mind even more.

You know, I did not read it because I need to click on a link, but I did a search the same and its definition reads
Confirmation bias is when people pay more attention to information that supports what they already believe, while ignoring or dismissing information that contradicts their beliefs.
Which (to me) confirms that the same (which might exist in our hearts) be drawn out by the use of what is false (in this case a false prophet) by which someone can be proved, for example...
Deut 13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
In the above, false prophets can be used by Him to prove us (in our own departure from him, or our cleaving unto him). Tools to see whether you love the LORD your God, even as Jesus shows so much below
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
And so if he tells us (for instance)
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Anyone claiming otherwise should be considred a false prophet. Who is useful in proving you. To know whether you love the LORD your God because he that love me NOT (Jesus said) keepeth NOT his sayings, and the very word Jesus had spoken was not his but the Father's.

What's really going on here? Are people that desperate to see Christ? (Admirable.) Or desperate to escape the troubles of this world? (Escapism is understandable, but not so admirable.) Does Joshua really think he's a prophet, does he NEED to think he's a prophet, or does he just get off on the ego trip of knowing that some people are hanging on his every word?
