No one is born homosexual, and no one is born in the wrong body. Defending these delusions leads many people down a very wrong path.

These are not delusions. These are very real issues.
I'm not defending gender dysphoria. I'm trying to get the church to recognize it and deal with it properly.

I think the craziness is being caused by the PARENTS that no longer have any idea about RAISING children but instead they just let them GROW....IOW, they're not being parents but just adult persons living in the same house.

And I'm distinguishing between dysphoria and a real medical condition that needs treatment at birth.

I do believe that dysphoria is different than homosexuality.

Dysphoria can have different causes.
I agree.

But, although I keep being told that no one is born homosexual....
I just have not been able to come to that conclusion.

Seems to me that a person would not CHOOSE to be such due to reaction and non-acceptance from society.
it's accepted now...but do you remember a few decades ago? It would cause some to even commit suicide.

I think it IS problematic if the church attributes this disorder ONLY to psychological problems.

That's a good question.
I think gender transitioning is a bigger issue at school. The other kids like to label each other.
This was already happening when I was in school 60 yrs ago. Boys were labeled as gay or fem.

The church can help children deal with these issues from a Christian perspective.
Looking at both the positive and negative aspects.

How can a child navigate feelings of gender dysphoria or same-sex attraction?
Calling it sin, or demon possession is not very helpful.

I have always believed that some are born this way.
Some may CHOOSE to be...but, not knowing the states, I'd still say a small percentage due to societal pressure.
It CAN be psychological.

We never finished our convo about God creating evil.

It's important because it helps to understand these problems.

Persons are born homosexual due to a defect in the DNA or Chromosones, or whatever the defect is.
This defect I attribute to the sin nature which has affected everything.

The fall of Adam caused all of nature to be affected:
Man and Nature.
There is evil in everything...
there is disorder in everything.

Including our sexuality.

A girl that is a tomboy is a girl that knows she's a girl and accepts it but she has boy-like qualities.

A pinkboy goes to counselling because he thinks he's female.

Not sure I undersand what a pinkboy is.

To add:
If someone is going to some kind of counselling it must surely mean that they want to "get well",
"change", etc.
