"If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." - Luke 9:23

Each of us, as born-again Believers, have a promised land for our lives. God's promises are the key to us understanding and entering into the vision that God has given us.

If you are in a desert God is ready to take you out -- time to move on from eating manna to eating the food that God freely gives in the promised land of your DESTINY!

If we want to be co-laborers with Jesus, fulfilling His PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE, we must step out of the comfort zone and move into the life of faith where our only source is the invisible God and the integrity of His word. He said we cannot be His disciples if we don't do this.

2 Peter 1:4 - "By which He (God) has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire."

"I know what you have done; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! But because you are barely warm, neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth!...Buy also some medicine (from Me) to put on your eyes, so that you may see." - Revelation 3:15,18 TEV

The religious spirt is so closely akin to the Holy spirit, the Lord announced, it would deceive the very elect if possible (Matthew 24:24).

Nevertheless there are believers today who are coming out of complacency or rigid religious formality into their divine DESTINY. They reject the "lukewarm" Laodicean spirit that has so subtly deceived other countless believers and are coming to understand their Christ identity and right standing with God, so that they are equipped to fulfill the Great Commission.

After being hurt or discouraged, something inside says, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves." We shrink vision to avoid pain. We lower expectations to avoid heartbreak. It feels wise. It feels safe. But safety can become a ceiling to our potential.

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think..." - Ephesians 3:20

If we shrink what we ask and reduce what we think is possible, we limit what we position ourselves to receive.
Guarding our hearts from disappointment can also guard them from breakthrough.

"And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from Heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it." - Matthew 28:2

What Jesus accomplished was not partial, and it was not temporary. The life that was laid down was taken up again, not by external force but by the authority that had always belonged to Him. Death, which once carried weight and finality, had been entered, confronted, and overcome.

This is why the resurrection carries such significance. It was not simply that Jesus lived again. It was that death no longer held the same authority. What once defined the boundary of human existence had broken open. The limitation that seemed absolute had been exposed as temporary. The resurrection did not ignore death. It passed through it and rendered it powerless. Everything began to shift in light of this reality.

The resurrection speaks to the individual, declaring:

that what is broken can be restored,

that what feels final is not beyond redemption, and

that life can emerge where death once seemed to have the final word.
