Numbers 13:33 - "And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, who come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."
How does the devil see you? Does He see you as a terrifying and mighty warrior of God...or does he see you as a weak target he can prey on. If in your own sight, you're a weak, powerless Christian, the devil will run over you multiple times a day. But when you begin to see yourself as God sees you, as a conquering son or daughter of the Almighty God equipped with the very power of God Himself, the devil will want to steer clear of you.
If you are not strong in the Lord in your own sight, you need to change that. You need to get full of God's Word regarding your Christ identity, your right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Turn the tables on the devil and let him find out what it feels like to be a grasshopper for a change.
A huge part of increase is stewardship! Be moving! Be active! Faith is inoperative without works. Have faith for God to do something big in your life and that is all that it requires -- faith. The catalyst for faith is works, which means moving on what you are believing God to increase.
Matthew 25:21 says, "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord'" (NKJV).
When you are faithful with what you have, start expecting more! Sudden breakthrough follows healthy stewardship. Unforeseen breakthrough is coming in this season, so prepare for it and get ready to steward it!
Some things are spiritual warfare, and some things are just the reality of living in a broken world. But God is saying today, "Don't stay focused on that dissevered moment—the brokenness."
Because when the veil tore, that wasn't the end of the story. There was still resurrection coming -- Pentecost coming. There was still more that Heaven could see, even when the people standing there couldn't.
So if you're in one of those tearing, ripping-apart moments in life, He's saying, "Don't deny the pain. Don't pretend the laceration doesn't hurt." But ask God, "What's on the other side of this?" Because as someone born-again in Christ you know there will be an Acts 2 to step into.
Affirmations:
I AM NOT DESIGNED TO DRIFT -- I AM DESIGNED TO CONQUER THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS AND BRING FORTH THE GREAT COMMISSION.
I HAVE A PASSION TO DISCIPLE NEW CHRISTIANS INTO THEIR CHRIST IDENTITY.
GOD IS CONTINUALLY PUTTING NEW CHALLENGES BEFORE ME TO DEVELOP MY FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE AT A DEEPER LEVEL.
GOD HAS A GREAT DEAL FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND IN ORDER TO BRING ABOUT HIS GREAT COMMISSION. MY TAKING POSSESSION WILL CONFRONT MY GREAT FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE.
