Many Christians live from a view that God is in Heaven and we are knocking at His door. This could not be further from the truth. Jesus said to His disciples I am now with you but I shall be IN YOU.
If we are really His then He is in us. Now we are living from the newness of life standpoint, we connect spirit to Spirit with God in the inner courts of our heart.
"...And the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14
Spread your wings of worship and expectation that God is faithful to His promises, and fly over life's circumstances. If you've run out of strength, then wait (and worship) a little longer!
The Holy Spirit in the Christian was to be as powerful as the Holy Spirit was in Christ.
Who has the faith to believe it?
Who has faith to exercise it?
We cannot exercise anything beyond what we believe to be possible.
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father." - John 14:12
The most dangerous lies don't feel evil; they feel intelligent. They show up as thoughts like this:
• "I'm just being realistic."
• "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."
• "I don't want to be disappointed again."
• "That's just how I am."
• "I'm just being humble."
None of those sound rebellious. They sound mature. A logical lie is a conclusion that makes sense to the natural mind but contradicts what God says. It sounds wise and it feels responsible, but it quietly lowers expectations. And because it sounds intelligent, we rarely challenge it.
Many of our greatest limitations don't come from negativity, but they come from subtle agreement with thoughts that contradict what's possible.
