We Must Burn Brighter!
There are many in the Body of Christ who must learn to trim their wicks in order to burn brighter than before. We have settled for a tiny flame while complaining about the invasive darkness. We have been waiting on the invitation for influence, while missing our opportunity to take action by invading and overthrowing the darkness.
Today is the time for you to trim your wick so that the light of Christ within you shines greater than before as you seek the Ascended Life in Christ that frees you from the self life and gives you power over sin.
In Acts 26:16, when Saul met Jesus in the explosive glory fire, Jesus "appointed" him to bear witness of Him.
The Lord is releasing a glory fire (fire of the Lord that brings sudden breakthrough and divine turnarounds) as in the days of Saul, and out of that fire He is "appointing" a generation of the Sons of Thunder (see Mark 3:17).
Thunder (in the reference in Mark 3), in the Greek means to roar. These Sons of Thunder, who will be released throughout the earth, will roar with the voice of God and shake the earth. They will walk in power and turn the world upside down for the Kingdom.
"Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 54:1 KJV)
Notice the instruction "Sing, O barren." God is calling forth a prophetic response before there is any natural manifestation of the promise. He is requiring a sound that contradicts your circumstances.
For many, the resetting and pruning have been intense. You have endured seasons where things were cut back, stripped away, and even removed entirely. It has left you feeling weary. But the Lord says, "Do not interpret the pruning as rejection. It was preparation. It was making room for what is about to break forth."
"For more are the children of the desolate..." This is not a small increase; this is supernatural multiplication. God is bringing you out of desolation and into abundance.
Increase requires pruning, and pruning always precedes fruitfulness. What felt like loss was actually a divine strategy, removing what was unnecessary to make room for His overflow.
Romans 1:14 - "I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the barbarians."
Paul was overwhelmed with the sense of his indebtedness to Jesus Christ, and he spent himself to express it. "Ye are not your own." Paul sold himself to Jesus Christ. The great inspiration in Paul's life was his view of Jesus Christ as his spiritual creditor. We need to quit praying about ourselves and be spent for others as the bondslave of Jesus. That is the meaning of being made broken bread and poured-out wine in reality (Philippians 2:17).
Questions to ask myself:
What am I doing to enable other believers to come to understand their Christ identity so they can start bearing fruit that remains for the Great Commission?
Am I willing to let the Spirit of God work in me this sense of indebtedness as rivers of Living Water pour out of me into others as I equip them for Kingdom service?
Am I truly a bondslave of the Lord Jesus.?
