Honor is a spiritual force that releases blessings in your life. Scripture consistently connects honor with tangible results.
Honor is not passive; it is something we intentionally demonstrate, practice, and give.
This is how to honor others; this is how to honor God:
Put others before yourself.Take the role of a servant in relationships.
Invest time and attention into others.
Choose compassion over ego.
Refuse to be driven by pride or self-promotion.
Find someone who will teach you how to disciple others so youh will be effective in fruit bearing that remains for God/s Kingdom.
Ferret out those believers who want to move forward in their spiritual life.
Create discipleship remationships where you are meeting once per week.
Create a mindset in yourself to disciple, equip, send out and oversee warriors that will do battle with the kingdom of darkness, thereby establishing the Great Commission.
Isaiah 26:9 - "My soul yearns for you in the night."
What is the most worthwhile thing you can experience on earth? Nothing less than God Himself! What is the first and most important thing to be done each day? It is nothing less than to seek, to know, to live, and to praise God. So begin every day of the year with the impassioned prayer of David:
"O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you...in a dry and weary land" (Psalm 63:1).
As you persevere in this, you will learn to expect the presence of God to surround you throughout the day.
Colossians 2:2 says our hearts are knit together in love. That's the unconditional love of God that is brought to life when we are covenanted together by the blood of Jesus -- we are in Him and He is in us.
Stir up your expectancy. Start looking for something fresh and exciting to happen every moment of every day -- there's a blessing just around the corner. Throw fear out. Throw worry out. Bring in the joy.
Start releasing the love (agape) that you heart has been bathing in as you have been abiding in Jesus. When you release the love that results in rivers of living water flowing into other Believers, their potential is released so that they will soon be releasing fruit that remains into God’s Kingdom. When you release love into a situation, you have released God into that situation. Then Jesus becomes responsible for its success.
Declare that your are consumed in His love so that it is released in every person you come in contact with.
