My friend has been busy for the past several weeks getting his house ready for sale. The decision to move out of the city and relocate to another region came from a number of divine sources. He and his family are now in a place of having to totally trust God to lead the way and open doors accordingly. As a Prayer Warrior, I've been praying for direction and God's leading as he keeps me updated on their progress.

It is always difficult to make life changing decisions because it affects everyone in the family. At the same time we also need to trust that we are hearing from God along with having a high level of faith in the plan that he has for our lives.

As well as moving to another area and looking for a new home, my friend also needs to find other employment. Two weeks ago he submitted a letter of resignation to his employer which was not easily accepted because he is exceptional at his job which he was paid well for but he felt burdened about it for months and experienced a real sense of relief and peace after making the decision to hand in his notice..

The area he plans to settle with his family does not have a strong job market and a number of people were made redundant just recently but despite the circumstances, they believed that they have made the right decisions and have faith that God will open something up.

They needed to have that strong level of faith because the decisions being made seem to be subject to something else having to come to pass first. Kinda what God does with us sometimes :)

Last week [being practical as well as spiritually tuned] he decided that he needed to start knocking on doors for other employment in the area so he applied for a job that he had minimal qualifications for and he knew that there would be a flood of applicants who were more qualified but he applied for it anyway, leaving the end result up to the Lord.

My friend rang me today after finishing his last official day in his current employment. He was quietly optimistic about a "God moment" he experienced because the job he applied for was successful and he starts his new position on Monday. Thank you Lord Jesus!
