As a young child growing up with lots of siblings in a very rural area, I guess that God wanted to make himself real to me and he did in so many ways. One time when I was around 8. I was sitting on the railing of a balcony which was on the top floor of our two-story home. Something our mother told us never to do because we could fall from there and "break our necks". One day I felt really brave and since no-one was around, I decided to sit on the railing.
My feet were dangling over the edge and I was holding on to a supporting beam. Suddenly, I felt a huge push from behind and found myself losing my grip of that beam and I slipped off and started falling toward the ground. (this is the height of a 2 story building).
I was heading toward the ground when I felt a hand on my chest (invisible) and that hand pushed me so hard in the opposite direction that I began to fly backward, up and over the balcony I was previously sitting on where I landed in a heap, on the deck/verandah.
I bumped my head pretty hard and I had a headache from it but extremely blessed that I didn't hit the ground because I would have definitely died.
This was one of many saves that the Lord performed in my life. Praise Jesus! Glory to God!
