Please answer my question. If you can't answer a simple question about how you take a situation (ask for 70 virgins), how can anyone take YOU seriously?

You said one shouldn't ask for that because of sin. Is that the exception you draw?

And if so, where in the Bible is this exception?
Are you a new Christian?

Your question is ridiculous. Only a new Christian wouldn't know it's a sin. You're Christian, not Muslim, right? Your heart should tell you it's sin.

Of course I know it's sin. I'm exploring your definitions since you aren't forthcoming with them.

So once more, do you think God will give us all he asks unless it's sin? Is that how you clarify it? And if so, provide Biblical support for it.

Why not? As long as it's not something sinful. I've already listed several of God's promises and there are more very similar.

1 John 3:21-22 (NKJV)
[sup]21 [/sup]Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. [sup]22 [/sup]And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

How many do you need? How many promises of salvation do you need besides John 3:16?

So, you don't have any Biblical reasoning for "unless it's sin"???

I showed you where God saved the man's family because he believed the promise. If you need more than God's promises I can't help you.

John 15:7 (NKJV)
[sup]7 [/sup]If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Why wouldn't God save your family?

Your assertion is simply disproved by Matthew 10:34. In addition to what I said earlier about you missing the fact the gospel was told to the entire family.
Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn

“‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’

Now then, prayer is only going to be heard if it's according to God's will.

1 John 5:14, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."

Acts 16:31. It is His will.

Acts 16:31. It is His will.

So you can ignore the other verses?

Additionally 16:31 doesn't say it's dependent upon the head of the household coming to faith. It just says it'll happen, a mini prophecy, fulfilled a few verses later.

It's only temporary. God will change their hearts for someone who believes His many promises.

Mark 10:28-30 (NKJV)
[sup]28 [/sup]Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You." [sup]29 [/sup]So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel's, [sup]30 [/sup]who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions--and in the age to come, eternal life.

It's only for those who have faith.

Proverbs 10:24 (NKJV)
[sup]24 [/sup]The fear of the wicked will come upon him, And the desire of the righteous will be granted.

That is not God's will. Can't happen.

1 Peter 4:18 (NKJV)
[sup]18 [/sup]Now "If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?"

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.2 Peter 3:9

Yep, I have. And I have also read this:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV)
[sup]9 [/sup]Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? DO NOT BE DECEIVED. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, [sup]10 [/sup]nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Well the scripture I posted clearly states God's will and makes your earlier statement of " That is not God's will. Can't happen" false.

So how are you righteous?

By believing the Blood of Jesus washes away my sins. Oh, and by obeying God.

Like I said earlier, if you are right then I will be saved. If I am right, you have blood on your hands.

I think if one is going to error it is better to be on the side of grace than harshness of heart. Now with the scripture I posted in 2Peter 3:9 reveals you errant statement yet you want to ignore it, why?

If believing in Christ's blood washing our sins away and obeying God makes one righteous (not in disagreement here) than where is the problem with believing everyone comes to belief and action?

You didn't heed the warning.
