Don't you think his nonsense is a little too transparent to be misleading? I know I'm not being very kind here, but come on. The way BB carries on, how is anyone going to take him seriously? I reported him once for his attacks (not on me, btw) and he said "I'll be good," and look at him now--anyone and everyone is a fool and an infidel worthy only of mockery and scorn except for himself. I think I'm just making an honest observation here. I'm really tired of his abuse of everyone who doesn't buy into his over-the-top rhetoric. I think he might actually have me on -ignore-. I could, of course, be wrong.

Sorry, FB, but I've gotta go with SBG on this one. BB is a loaded cannon, to be sure, but I've read some of his testimony and he's not a true antinomianist. He believes in holy living. He just doesn't do an awful lot of it here.
My hope was that you'd see the point. Trusting God doesn't come from God, as you are insisting. The opportunity, and the faith, and the encouragement to trust God comes from him, but the trusting itself, that's on you. See, you're not trusting God when you just cave into sin. You are trusting God when, by faith, you resist sin, trusting him that you don't have to commit that sin to satisfy whatever it is you're trying to achieve by sinning. But you are saying trusting God is just letting it go and having a carefree attitude about sin. That's showing your lack of trust in God.
When he begins to see what he lacks, he will ask for it in trust. Then, look out!
That's right. BB's argument is you don't have to be concerned in the least that you aren't walking as Jesus walked. And that it's God's problem, not yours and mine. At the very least, that's a profound ignorance of what it means to overcome sin. At the very worst it's actually a lack of trust in God, not having trust in God. If you actually trusted God in the matter of sin you'd trust his word that you are already victorious over sin.
Don't forget that your opinion is worth what I paid for it, too. Remember that the next time you want to tear down my contribution to this thread.

You have a huge ax to grind. I'm not exaggerating. Take it however you want. You know what I said about reporting you is true. You're just mad because you can't stand being called out. You seem to be looking forward to the day when everyone but you will be lost. You're not God. You don't have a monopoly on truth, BB. You think you've got it all figured out because you've settled two simple things in your mind. Good for you. I hope that works out for you. I really do. For now, though, you're mostly a nuisance here. That's my opinion. And it just could be a fact.
