A perfect example of this is that I hate when people try to fix me and get the situation all wrong and are super NOT helpful and even damaging, then perhaps I'll be suffering somehow by ridicule or some other way for not taking their advice.
From my perception: Something that bothers you a lot is when someone assumes and inserts something into what you have been saying in which they have not listened to you and completely missed your entire point and they still continue nag at you even after you trying to be explicitly clear with the other person? That can be hurtful, not even helpful, and later on you might be feeling of ridicule if someone and what they may think about you personally because you did not decide to listen to them or take their advice ?
I have family like that. And I hate when people give medical advice and have no idea what they're talking about. Really hurtful.
Imaging dealing with your family sometimes is hard, and that their are is a lot to this in your own life that you only would know about, and am sorry for your suffering but would like to encourage you.
2 Corinthians 1: 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
Romans 8:38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Corinthians 12:3 I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. 6 Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, 7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
And I hate when people don't stay objective about a situation and assume way too much and come up with some false/paranoid belief about me or others or some situation.
From my perception: What bothers you is when you are being straight forward and objective to the truth about situations they go on off unto assuming other things rather than staying close to the practical concept of whatever is being really going on that may/ require some discernment possibly to really be able to see that type of the heart of the matter.
People should be taking a scientific approach to understanding situations and others, relying on factual information and keeping open to changing their ideas based on facts and evidence.
Would agree, with you thank you for sharing.
