is the Father Lord ? yes or no

The Father is the LORD, but our Lord is Christ. This is akin to different beings for sergeant, lieutenant, major, general or POTUS.

Our CO does not have to be the commander-in-chief. Our CO is Jesus, who is not God. There are many lords in the Bible but only one LORD, who is not Jesus. Hope this answers your question.

Lk 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

Prophet of Jesus!
Prepared the way of the Lord, Jesus!
Jesus is most high!

The EXACT opposite. For us, there is o e God, the Father.

lk 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

Prophet of Jesus! Jesus most high God!
Has a divine nature

Lk 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,

which God has visited us? Jesus?

Logic. Definition. Language Usage ...

A prophet of the Highest, is not the Highest. I agree with Lk 1:76. Jesus is of God, which by definition and language usage, makes him not God.

How trinitarians suppose their doctrine does not violate the 1C is pretzel rationalizing.

Did you ever explain:
  1. Why Jesus said he was going to his God in John 20:17?
  2. Why Jesus got a revelation from God, in his unitarian nature, in Revelation 1:1?
  3. Why God, in his unitarian nature, is the head of Christ in 1 Corinthians 11:3?

Cricket ... Cricket ...

Yes, he prepared the way for Jesus but that does not translate to him being a prophet of Jesus.

Lk 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

You are confusing lowercase lord, of which there are many, with the one and only Capital LORD God.

prophet preaching the kingdom and Christ is the king! (Lk 1:32-33)

matt 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

That is NOT what Scripture says. LORD. Lord. Not the same.
and the Sion is called that d=same LORD numerous times in scripture. Try reading Romans 10:9-13 sometime and cross-reference it with the OT quotation from Joel 2:32.

Joel 2:32
32
"And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Will be delivered;

For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
There will be those who escape,
As the Lord has said,
Even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.

Here we see Paul quote this OT passage about YHWH and apply it to Jesus who is the one and only Lord according to the N.T.

Rom 10:9-13
9
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

So a person must confess Jesus is YHWH(Lord) to be saved. Confess means to agree with so the person confessing Jesus is Lord is in agreement that He is YHWH. Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord ( YHWH) will be saved.

The above is exegesis 101 which you failed.

hope this helps !!!

100’s of times over. Did you ever explain:

Odd how this post keeps getting ignored. The questions reveal an inconvenient truth.

then your father is not the LORD since there is but ONE LORD.

next.................................

from the athanasian creed

What quality the Father has, the Son has, and the Holy Spirit has. The Father is uncreated, the Son is uncreated, the Holy Spirit is uncreated.

The Father is immeasurable, the Son is immeasurable, the Holy Spirit is immeasurable.

The Father is eternal, the Son is eternal,
the Holy Spirit is eternal.

And yet there are not three eternal beings; there is but one eternal being.
So too there are not three uncreated or immeasurable beings, there is but one uncreated and immeasurable being.

Similarly, the Father is almighty, the Son is almighty, the Holy Spirit is almighty. Yet there are not three almighty beings;
there is but one almighty being.

Thus the Father is God,
the Son is God,
the Holy Spirit is God.
Yet there are not three gods;
there is but one God.

Thus the Father is Lord,
the Son is Lord,
the Holy Spirit is Lord.
Yet there are not three lords;
there is but one Lord.
