He died for the Children of God !

Jn 11:50-52

50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

One of the biggest lies ever told and believed in false religion is that Christ died for all mankind without exception.

But scripture testimony is clear that He died only for some of mankind, this time in this passage its pointed out to be the Children of God, both those found in the nation of Israel and those scattered abroad, meaning in the gentile nations.

It is the Children of God as a result of Christ's death, that will be gathered to Christ, meaning they will come to Him in Faith, which makes manifest they were the Children of God. In Salvation and conversion believers make manifest who the Children of God are 1 Jn 3:10

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

That word manifest means phaneros:

apparent, manifest, evident, known

2) manifest i.e to be plainly recognised or known

They become apparent, or recognized, evident or known, whereas before conversion [faith and or repentance] they are not known to be the Children of God, not that they were not, they were but it was not evident as such.

But Faith in Christ makes it evident Gal 3:26

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Jesus said, all that the Father giveth me shall come to me Jn 6:37, well Jesus is referring to the Children of God God gave Him to die for. Heb 2:13

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

The Children of Jn 11:51-52.

Its God's Children who shall be taught of God and so they come to Him Jn 6:44-45

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Now lets go to where this is written in the prophets to Identify whom Christ is stating shall be taught of God Isa 54:13

13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

It is God's Children that shall be Taught of Him resulting in their coming to Christ. Its the same Truth taught in Heb 12:6

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Involved in this chastening is the teaching and learning from God. The word chasteneth here means to:

to train children

a) to be instructed or taught or learn

b) to cause one to learn

That's why the children come to Christ in Faith Jn 6:44-45. Again they are the ones the Father gave to the Son Heb 2:13 and it was for them He suffered and died Heb 2:9-10. Every son that He tasted death for Heb 2:9, shall be taught of God, and they shall come to Christ, believing on Him for Salvation, the Captain of their Salvation Heb 2:10 !

No, Christ did not die for the children of the devil which are also manifested 1 Jn 3:10

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.490
Who does God Draw to Christ?

There are passages that suggest it is those who believe ...and do righteous...

First Passage:John 6
35Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst. 36But as I stated, you have seen Me and still you do not believe.37Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away. 38For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me.39And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. 40For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Next passage:
Acts 10

34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37that word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judæa, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. 42And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 43To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. 44While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

3rd Passage
John1

6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1 Corinthians 10.32 shows that Jews, Gentiles and the church of God are distinct.

I do not know all the scriptures...But right now He seems to be winning this argument.

Because if the new Cov..has its beginnings that start now on earth...to Govern those on earth to the fullness of life. Then when is the blood applied to sin? To those in Christ or outside of Christ.

Those abided under the old Cov...could also be the church as well seeing the passage Farouk brought up...Christ was the rock in symbol...And where He set before He came to earth is Key...

Death Cannot hold life....God is Life...
Thank God He is the consummation of all things...The reason then He died was to prove who He was and where forgiveness of sin would be found...which is in Him.

For before He died He also forgave sin...But the new Covenant is the answer to us all...meaning anyone that comes to Jesus by God....We come under that government.

However [smile] When the disciples preached Christ through His death and ressurrection.
The preaching of the cross must have been for all people. But if it fell on death ears, could it be because of where their hearts were.

Therefore the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are parishing??
Mmm, could that scripture fit there?

However (lol) the same people He called to holiness..that were once dead in sin...He could use to make jealous those not yet called that could also be called to Holiness....
Therefore if those who became part of the church through belief were once dead and outside the church...than the others can be too...which then means that sense those in the church were once lost(if so) and now are found, logically speaking one can still say Christ died for the lost(which were not yet His church) otherwise they who are now the church were never dead in sin. In the end we know every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

I have no problem with that verse, it doesnt change that the Church which belongs to Christ, comprised of both jew and gentile believers, are the Seed of Abraham Gal 3:28-29

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Within the framework of those verses, there are still others who call themselves Jews, but are not in Christ. The passage quoted is talking about those who are already in Christ.

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross” (Colossians 1:19-20)

Here is one to look at....but "through Him"

This is what scriptures says:

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

I see with such a response, a short-sightedness of what the gospel is that the apostles preached as found in the scriptures.

so believe it

Mk 16:16 is in the gospel
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Whoever passes with A's and receives their report card will go to the next class; but whoever doesn't pass with an A's will be held back.

So look what the latter does not say. It never mentions report card....because you you usually receive a report card after grades are in.

As people usually were Baptized because they received a teaching.

Yet could it be possible to be Baptized and not truly received the teaching/preaching? As with the case that could have been with the pharasees that came to John the Baptist but He rebuked them by telling them to bring forth fruit?

Likewise a person could receive a report card yet not gotten A's......

So if you deal with this...and not keep parroting ..much respect....For we all can Parrot and choose scripture out of context to prove our religious denomination.
