What is it that's "Born Again?" I believe we don't die to our volition, to our free ability to make decisions. Receiving Christ does not displace our ability to make choices in concert with Christ.

What we die to is autonomous living. We die to independence, and choose to live in continual partnership with Christ. This union of God and Christian is what it means to be "Born Again." What do you think?

Only our spirit is born again when we believe and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Well, certainly our body is not being born again! ;) But I agree. Our spirit is born again. Our mind has to be renewed, which may relate to the same process, the infiltration of a new spirit into our thinking. What do you think?

Yes!! A born again believer is a new creation (spirit) but our soul still needs to fight against our flesh(old sin nature) but with God's help we win!!! PTL

Our "natural" (from mans seed) spirit is our true thoughts in our heart.
A "born again" spirit is (from Gods seed) that rebirths our spirit, to Gods truth in our heart.
(Also receive a new heart). Also receive Gods Spirit indwelling in our new heart.
~ the body is crucified with Christ.
(Forgiven, covered, sanctified, justified)
~ soul "restored" back to "very good", life preserved in our soul.
~ called made WHOLE.
~ called Converted
~ called Saved and Born Again
~ called Christ's Church
~ called Christ's Bride
~ called son of God
~ called Sealed
~ called WITHIN (with & IN) Christ
~ called Perfected
~ called Servant
~ called Friend
~ called Prepared
Etc.

And the carnal mind?
Our job to MAKE our mind subservant to our hearts thoughts.

Glory to God,
