Please dont get offended . But i seem notice you talk a lot about folks taking your joy .
I want to tell you a serious deep truth . There once was a man , me , and i used to work with the public .
More than once a witch , YEAH i mean a real witch , used to say this about me .
SHE said every time you come into work my JOY is stolen .
Yet , even when i had to work with her , Her demons could not take my joy .
IF something can take you joy , REST ASSURED its joy that is sensual . CAUSE i was always nice to this lady .
OH she knew . She knew what i was , everyone at the workplace knew what i was .
My appearance took her joy , her joy was in her witchcraft and this world . YET SHE could not , her demons could not
take my JOY. Cause no matter how mean they were to me , MY HOPE wasnt in this world . ITS IN JESUS .
AND THEY COULDNT TAKE MY JOY FROM ME .
How come hearing correction or warnings , TAKES YOUR JOY From you . HAVE you ever thought about that .
Cause i can hear praises about the LORD and i joy and i can hear all the dire warnings of truth as well , AND STILL I GOT MY JOY .
MY JOY aint in my surroundings , truth is most folks cant stand me . YET HERE I AM , HAVING ALL JOY .
CAUSE MY JOY aint in my circumstances , and it sure aint in this world . ITS IN JESUS . NO MAN CAN TAKE IT FROM ME .

Time for bibles to be open and much reading to be done . Let us all start afresh and anew like hungry babes and learn THE TRUTH .

Here is a real simple truth . GOD KNOWS ALL THINGS . He knows all our works , whether good or evil

JESUS never said any such thing . He in fact warned , ENDURE TO THE END .

How it must offend these Christians who have done good and been good all their lives...to see someone on their death bed who hasn't been so good... receive the gift of Salvation.

As long as they genuinely come to faith in God on their death bed all is good, and God is to be praised. What is unacceptable and a slap in the face of God is trampling on the grace of God in unbelief and then presuming you're just going to waltz right into the kingdom of God in spite of your rejection of Him. Ain't gonna happen, folks. Hyper Grace theology says it is going to happen.

I'm not offended... but I am hesitant to share anything with you. Sorry for that.

The below is what I wrote to Backlit when he asked exactly what it is I don't agree with you about regarding correction.

I agree there is a proper way to correct ( the biblical one)... which is supposed to happen in the church setting... and between one another.
I do not agree with the constant trumpet blasting regarding warning and correcting. I have had this conversation with him.

If someone within the church is living a sinful "lifestyle"... I absolutely agree the church should be taking that person aside and correcting them. There is a concise biblical formula for HOW to do this. My problem is that much of the time... this is NOT happening.

I do not agree with random Christians calling out sin in people they don't even know... or love... (they say they are correcting in love because they are polite)... I also don't believe in correcting sin that has already been repented for privately between offender and God. The issue I have is with judging someone as unsaved.

Correction is a much abused thing in the Christian world. That is how I see it.

You ask... How come hearing correction or warnings , TAKES YOUR JOY From you .

I try to take daily inventory of myself... I talk to God about my sin often... and I ask for help to do better.... I do NOT need correction from random strangers. It's the busy body mentality that bothers me. People poking their noses where it doesn't belong... I have expressed above what I believe about correction within the church... THERE is a place for it... Correction is not necessary for those who have repented.
