Thank you for your kind words... Personally I am very well... My heart is sad for my niece who just turned 30 on Friday and her
brother died on Saturday... He lived with her and she is the one who found his body... It's been a really challenging (dreadful) summer
for my niece... as in July.... my niece had to revive her brother on her back porch... he had a heart attack... she kept him alive until the
ambulance arrived... all that trauma... for him to come home for a month and then die... She is devastated and so very broken.
So... my heart is indeed SAD for her.

He was in his 40's... it's my niece's half brother... but they were very close...
He has a lot of health issues and she KNEW of the risks when she allowed him
to move in.... she just wanted him close... HE ended up living with her for over a year.

When he had his heart attack in July... they put in a pace maker and a stint to shock his heart...
It looked like he would be around for awhile... and then bang...

It was a shock... no one is prepared for things like this... especially not someone as young as 30.

@Addy I am sorry; may your niece learn to rest in the trusting exercise of prayer and the Scriptures.

Sadly my niece is absolutely turned off of God... due to legalistic introduction by her family... I have been trying to repair the damage that my family has done... but she doesn't give God much thought... so her suffering is magnified severely. I am in deep prayer for her... as I know MY GOD can work all kinds of miracles in the lives of the broken. I have not yet seen her since this has occurred... I live in the same city... but I do not drive... She is supposed to be coming to pick me up tomorrow... and bring me back to her house. There is nothing I can say or do at this time...all I can do is weep with her... and hold her heart next to mine.

Sorry to hear... Hopefully his in a better place with the Lord now

He was not a believer in God... and I am not going to venture to guess what happened when he died... Those things are just too difficult
to assess... I spent years thinking about my father after he hung himself... wondering what happened to his soul... HE hated religion... and had no use for God. These are sobering truths.... and I am not equipped to deal with the answers.

@Addy I take your point about the negative, legalistic influences which your niece has experienced. Sometimes praying with a person is not possible; although praying with someone is different from praying for someone...

I'm getting ready for the winter.... I am repeating old puzzles to practice up for the new ones I got which are all 1000 pieces... I like to
start with the 500 piece ones first.
