My after high school girlfriend was from New Zealand and she tried to feed me cow tongue once. Once.
Going out on a limb here but I'm guessing that relationship didn't quite work out.

(And what, did you have a daytime 'during high school' girlfriend when you weren't seeing your evening 'after high school' girlfriend?)

It's sooo good!!
While it is typically a cool seasonal drink, there are some pretty easy recipes online if "gaining a few pounds" is of no issue. ;)

Most in these parts do like to put a bit of spiced rum in theirs

LOL, I only dated two girls at the same time once. They both showed up at my work after high school. Pretty intense moment there. They became good friends and didn't like me anymore. Lesson learned. Marriage is monogamous, but I was under the impression that dating was different, silly me.

And yes the girl that had the New Zealand mother turned out to be Wiccan. Should have known with all the dragon statues in her house. But she was hot, so I dated her for a short while. Forgive me

Just so, sister! Sometimes it takes a long time for some of us to learn where people are because they will display a label like conservative or liberal but their definition is quite different from what the word means to you or to me.

When the forum had fewer people or posts or I was faster at reading I used to try to initiate discussion with each new person. I cannot do that any more so sometimes I will find myself in the middle of a mess of which I want no part at all.

When and if I finally, if ever, do identify a person's agenda and it is simply too far away for me he/she joins those I purposely avoid. I really wish this was not so... but it is as it must be. We need God's direction here to even decide whether to engage or not...

Lol. That works for me only as long as I can remember who it is I should avoid. And that’s usually about a day!

Yeah, but do you eat mexican food? We used to go to this carne asada burrito shop down in San Diego when I lived there with my ex. And then I just stopped going, must have been all the flies buzzing around in the burrito shop. I'm impartial to eating flies in my burritos. But yeah I still eat mexican food. But I'm picky where I eat now.

My after high school girlfriend was from New Zealand and she tried to feed me cow tongue once. Once.

Mexican food...gag!
I don't like most beans...and if you have to "re-fry" them ... lol...WHAT?
Cilantro- smell....super gag.
Rolled up wraps stuffed with "surprises"...nah
And yes ofcourse the flys that are always there to share your meal...and no complimentary fly swatter...lol

Animal Tongues...brains...(hearts, stomachs, or other organs) ... I'll pass...
that's animal food.

Sort of like "CIDER" is "seasonal" I like that also, but perfer it hot, so don't care it's typically available during the "cool season".

But "eggnog"... should be year round...LIKE chocolate...a staple...LOL

I mandate that eggnog should be around all year. That’s not a suggestion, it’s a mandate.

I bought 4 gallons of cider at Aldi's last weekend and the cashier made a comment about me buying it all. I told her I left some (for the poor, of course).

They HAVE to put alcohol in that crap so you forget how terrible and gooey that stuff is.

On this forum there are a few with very similar names, and it does get confusing remembering which one is normal and the other far out...
Lol...oops!

that's animal food.

They have a lot of hot dog carts in Washington, DC. The squeeze bottles of ketchup on the vendors carts have flies in them. It’s a rite of passage to learn to just ignore that and eat it.
Mind you though, there’s also a lot of dog walking and “forgetting” to pick up the mess.
You make the connection, I’m not going to say it.

Oh, too bad. I love me some cilantro. I make chips and dip and make the dip fresh, with chopped tomatoes, green onions, cilantro and green peppers with some garlic. It's super good when you eat it with restaurant style chips. But when you live in California (which is next to the mexican border and has a high population of mexicans) you do as the Californians do. Some Pico de Gallo:

I thought labels were done away with?
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

only ones keeping labels alive is us...
just saying..

I have noticed, even large grocery stores, stock very limited "eggnog" or "cider"....
And (BTW cottage cheese)....it just ain't right!
