Today my sickness is doing a bit better. I have a cold.

Last night I was crying on the phone with my husband. I was really missing him and he may be on the road till tomorrow.

My sister and I talked on the phone for a while. It feels good to have her check on me. She watched the anime I recommended and she liked it!

I will try not to feel sorry for myself. There's plenty of good things happening. I thought my weight would go up since I indulged in some homemade cake but it remains stable.

Ive been taking biotin gummies for a while and Im noticing a difference in my hair and nails. Both are growing faster.

Frustrated.
I called the hospice where my mother in law is supposed to be, but due to heppa laws they are not authorized to tell me if she is even on site.
So I called her son to see if he knows how I can get in touch with her, but they will be moving her to another facility in a few days. So until then, no news. He is heading down to Florida tomorrow morning to try and get all the paperwork in order. He can't do much of anything without a death certificate. This is so confusing. And my hands are tied.
The first person that asks me anything regarding my medical history, Ima tell em to shove it where the sun don't shine.

Just saying..
Hugs

That does sound frustrating. Life is sometimes so complicated and it feels unnecessary.

Hi @Wynona A lot of drivers spend a long time on the road, but yes it can be difficult for spouses. A good prayer and Bible reading habit can be a tonic.

The best thing I can say about my day is that I survived it relatively sane, Jesus is still Lord, and I still have the Board!
None of my friends died...I don't have any friends...that's what I call a silver lining! :)

I am feeling really good today. I went on a walk, did some errands, and am looking forward to my husband coming back from work.

I am very grateful to the Lord and very happy that my weight is going down. I never used to struggle with it till getting on certain medications. Those meds made me so hungry, I remember food tasting awesome because I was ravenous all the time.

Now Im on less medication and have done a lot of work to slowly lose weight on my journey, including portion control, hiit workouts, intermittent fasting, and long walks. The last two have been the most sustainable and effective methods for me.

I don't really restrict from any food but I don't keep junk in the house. If I really want something unhealthy, I must go out of my way for it.

I remember the first two months, I didn't see very much results but I watched a lot of encouraging videos until I did. Now all my clothes are loose on me and the motivation comes easy.

Funny enough, when I was outside walking, my nose cleared right up. Only inside the apartment, is it stuffy again.

The Lord is my strength and no matter what I go through, I know I can fight my way through with His strength.

Today is like yesterday, except I have a migraine today. Learning how to fulfill the duties of a moderator while in a high level of pain is a challenge, to say the least.

Can I see Jesus now?

The more I see of this world, the less I want to see. The more I hear, the easier it is to shelter myself from the news and stick to my own personal bubble.

I look around and I don't see where I fit. I wasn't made for this world.

I like being alive but I think Id enjoy heaven and being with Jesus so much more.

Mind your health.
If things get rowdy I'll make a list and you can chastise them when you feel better.
:)
I hope your feeling better. Ice pak on the back of the neck helps maybe?
Hugs

Today, I started out reading Ezekiel 40 through 48. Hopefully I can find a video on the temple described there.

I went early to the store and got a simple five subject notebook to become my journal. Ive been journalling for hours now. It's a beautiful balmy fall day outside at the library and Im taking full advantage of it.

There'a something very different about writing all my thoughts out on pages versus an app in my phone. It's way more relaxing and therapeutic. It's like the emotions are being released onto the page.

What is more important? To enjoy life? Or to accomplish things? Ecclesiastes would say that all else is vanity except to enjoy life while you have it, I think.

Im enjoying life.

It is just a thought. Read the parable of the sower in conjunction with Ez 40:1-12, both have the same outcome over time. The starting point for the Ezekiel prophecy is when God's presence filled Solomon's temple after it was built, and ends 4000 years later when the river of life cascades over the escarpment into the low land to bring about healing for the lands. The similarity between the two passages is that the width of the stream and the outcome of the scattered seed is an indication of the growth response of the people in both cases to God's seed words of salvation.

Interestingly the same image is used by God earlier in the Book of Ezekiel that God will plant Israel when He gathers them to himself in the "soil," i.e. fertile field, of Israel, i.e. Christ, and that He will teach them on the "mountain," i.e. religion, of Israel, i.e. Christ.

So Ezekiel 47:1-12 tells us of the progress of the response of the people to God, just as the Parable of the Sower also tells us of the response of the people in the places where the seed is scattered/dropped. It can be considered to be the story of Israel's responses to God over time, and we are presently nearing the the place in time of the year 3,000 in the Ezekiel 40:1-12 prophecy. It is also the story of the response of the gentile people to God's Salvation story.

In the Old Testament account, we are not told when Solomon dedicated the temple or the year in his reign when he did. We can only guess as to when that occurred.

This is food for though for those who can see God's hand at work in the world.

Shalom

Edited to fix wrong reference.

I went back to reread the passages you mention and failed to see the correlation between them. Maybe if I could visualize the measurements, Id have an easier time seeing it?

I know that the Jewish temple bears witness to Christ in a lot of ways.

Sorry I referenced the wrong passage, it should have been Ez 47:1-12. It should make more sense now.
