Pepper, Sinner,

Never was much of a fan of beetles or Metallica. Did like early 90s rap music like Eminem; or Insane clown posse, and heavier bands than metallic, like Slipknot. Or rock like Seether, not much for nirvana. Classical music is nice to listen to which FYD mention.

Music is a personal preference. I've never liked Heavy Metal myself, but that's just me.

And we found our rocker. You would hate my Spotify. LOL

He would hate my playlists on my music app, too. Lol.

:) Music is music. Enjoy whatever you like. Some things I can’t stand is music on the radio. I like silence and quite the most.

I don't usually listen to music on the radio, either. I like to choose my own music, and I don't like all the commercials. I have an extensive selection of my favorite music in my music app on my iPhone. I tell my kids and husband that it's like having my own personal radio station. It's great.

I have to be careful with music. Cant listen to a lot of secular music. Maybe a few songs, but not much.

I used to, and even A LOT of Christian rock, but it seems God has reserved that space in my life for himself, but now it is just praise and instrumental.

Now we're getting personal. Just kidding.

For the record, The Beatles are the best-selling band of all time. They are the absolute greatest band of all time. Bar none. 51 years after the song's original release: "The BeatlesLet It Be surges back onto the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated Oct. 30), re-entering at No. 5 following its deluxe special edition reissue on Oct. 15. The set was first released in 1970 as the final studio effort from the band, and also doubled as the soundtrack to the documentary film of the same name. The album spent four weeks atop the Billboard 200 (June 13 – July 4, 1970-dated charts) and is one of a record 19 No. 1 albums for the group." - The Beatles' 'Let It Be' Returns to Billboard Charts After Special Edition Reissue. The Beatles are the best.
Sorry to say but You do know about all the women that were abused over the years and also bought them out from Court actions and used underhanded threats and all.
That's part in parcel what a managers Job does and why he get half the money they earn, so as to keep them and the product looking clean and buying off the MSM in fact.
such as that has all been documented from many a bands. not to mention such as push drugs and the drug culture destroying many lives. well that's just the other side of the coin in reality of all such bands.
A Christian should never idolise any thing or person ever, because such is a delusion.
Public relations and such managers are all about creating deceptions.

So many on here, I get very curious about what their name means.

I just thought mine was cute and not dramatic at all.
The first username here was firstthings1st. meaning to us as the scripture is in Matthew 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; ..... but not long ago I asked to have that name changed to our first given names to Walter and Debbie, Walter meaning Ruler, Joshua 1:9, Debbie meaning Industrious, Isaiah 41:10

LOL, Walter

I think I remember your first name! Debbie and Walter, from the meanings you gave, sound like a very useful and hard working couple!

Editing my post because I shouldn't take part in derailing this lovely thread.

Life is very short, and there's no time for fussing and fighting, my friend.

Up until fairly recently I listened to all kinds of music. In the car, I'd jam out to anything that rocked, such as Van Halen's, "Panama,"
Free's, "All Right Now," Guns 'n' Roses' "Sweet Child Of Mine," etc. Since Jesus resurrected in my heart last year, I just want to sing to Him. I hardly play my electric anymore. Though this one still gets me going.

Mine is from the theory that the 2 Witnesses of Revelation are Moses/Moshe and Elijah, and also my theory that figuratively Moses and Elijah may also match Messianic Jews/Moses and Gentile Christians/Jesus.

Oh, that's so cool! I never thought about it before but I would think Enoch and Elijah because they didn't see death and no other good reason

If you do a thread on this I claim front student seat

λαμβάνω Strongs G2983:
to take to one's self;
to make one's own;
to associate with one's self as companion, attendant;
to take;
to admit, receive;
to receive what is offered;
not to refuse or reject;
to receive a person, give him access to one's self

John 1:12 (NASB20) But as many as received (G2983) Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

But the reason I chose this name for this forum is, in retrospect, something I’m not proud of.
