Because if you are he mentioned the Pope that fits the description of the antichrist, so that is a form of hate, and I’ve seen many on this forum spew things against Catholics, Mormons and Jehova’s witnesses, they are all our brother and sisters in Christ.

I’m sorry Cassandra, I’m lost I don’t know who Keith is, if someone said that about Keith no that is not nice.
I only feel love for all my brothers and sisters on this forum and outside this forum, including you, no matter the denomination as long as you believe in God the father and his only begotten son as our Lord and Savior, your good in my book, no matter the title, we are all Christians.

There are secular atheist people who reject the popular notions regarding gay marriage and homosexuality. That doesn't make them Christian. The criteria the Bible reveals as necessary to identify the Antichrist are of a different nature altogether, and the church's stance on various moral issues doesn't change those criteria or nullify their validity.

It is the Bible that identifies the Antichrist. It is the Bible that supports certain specific criteria that must be met in order for the identity of the Antichrist to be determined. If this is hatred them it is God Himself who hates the Antichrist. Now though the Pope may represent a system, it isn't the Pope himself that God hates, but the system, the Antichrist system, that God hates and which He inspired the prophets to write concerning a system headed up by a succession of men and spanning over 1000 years. No-one here is hating anyone. And many, including myself, began their Christian walk in that very system and came out of it in response to revelation and the Spirit of God moving them. Don't be too quick to judge the motives of individuals here, and don't be too quick to dismiss the claims the Bible makes against this Antichrist system.

I’m not dismissing anything, the Pope does not fit the criteria, I was also Catholic but don’t say the Pope is the antichrist those are anti Catholic people who say that. So I say your wrong.

As far as A sitting Pope, I would categorize him as a likely candidate of "false prophet" rather that "the world ruler Antichrist".

Yeah , the popes are of the spirit of anti Christ . But i would also think its more likely the candidate of False prophet .
Pope francis is leading this world more than we realize .
WHO Do you think is doing what even politicians have been unable to do . That man is uniting EVEN the religoins and all .
He is for sure a FP , whether or not HE is THE actual FP . HE is still one . There are many anti christs and many False prophets .
they all of that same dark spirit . WE must contend for the truth and stand firm on the doctrine of our LORD . Stay planted
deep in the bible . Much deceptoin abounds and only worse will it get .

Hollering God is love and that all religoins are serving the same God . What a deceiver .
Just cause folks can stand on a few ideals that might be true , dont mean they follow or know Christ .
This pope is perhaps the most subtile pope i have ever seen . Cause he is super friendly and always clangs on about doing good ,
YET it speaks like a dragon against preaching JESUS . HE is all about unifying the world and religoins , BUT NOT UNDER JESUS .
But a religion that serves the whims of a global plan . ITs all bad news my friend .
WE better open and stay in bibles and in prayer . pray that none gets taken into this web of deceptoin . Its flooding all over the churches
and the false religoins as well . Beware , lest it robs one of their reward in Christ .
And the truth of the matter is that the papacy is NOT the Antichrist!
The Bible makes it perfectly clear that the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition is a very powerful and evil ONE INDIVIDUAL. Not a system. And no pope has ever had total control of the whole world, nor will it ever happen. So essentially this theory is pure baloney. So Catholics should rightly reject this nonsense, although in reality they should reject all the false teachings emanating from the Vatican.

Spot on Enoch111, and I agree with the comments on the Vatican and it's why I asked thefaith if he hasn't read the Bible and not the Catholic book that they have behind each pew.
Of all the Popes in my lifetime that I can remember and that starts with Pope John Paul II, this Pope Francis, there is something about him, something not right, the things he says like when he met with a transexual I think it was and the matter on homosexuality that it's not for him to judge, I understand the part of hate the sin not the sinner saying, but to me it's like he is trying to change doctrine to fit with the times.
And the Bible is not a fashion piece that changes with the times , it's the word of God and stays true to every word, and that goes for the book of Leviticus.
My take on homosexuality on that it's a mental sickness, the Church should try to help these individuals who come to the Church and seek counseling or something, no matter the Church, not hang Rainbow Flags and say we accept you, that for me is just to ring in the money and the ones that do same sex marriages, those are not houses of God but Satan.

Pope Francis is very cunning in the way he talks, Pope John Paul II came across to me as more authentic man of God, though he venerated Mary the most out of all Popes, I believe he had the bullet placed in his Mitre that almost killed him when he visited Fatima Portugal and had an M for Mary engraved on his coffin, so I hear, but he didn't come across to me as Pope Francis does and Pope Benedict wasn't Pope for too long for me to be able to comment on him, but I know he was a hardline Catholic and never made any acceptance remarks regarding homosexuals and transexuals and all the other deviancy that comes along with Homosexuality.

I remember when people thought Ronald Reagan was the Antichrist, because his name Ronald Wilson Reagan bore six letters in each of his names. We can all point the finger at who the Antichrist might be, I believe mega Churches like the ones the the Olsteen's lead are more of a system in league with Satan, his wife went on to say that God wants us to be happy and whatever makes us happy is good in the eyes of God because it makes us happy and God wants us to be happy, or something like that, it's been awhile since I heard her say that with her fake smile, so if fornication and pornography and smoking dope makes me happy then I should engage in it and God will be happy because that makes me happy?
People need to watch what they say, especially people in power and of influence, and the Olsteen's have a huge following, it's not okay to do whatever makes you happy, I abstain from a lot of things that would make me happy, because I know they are not right, so if you want to call people false Prophets and Antichrists, I think people like the Olsteen's fit the description more accurately, and in the case of Pope Francis I do think he is a deceiver because of the things he says, and many hardcore American Priests and Cardinals and Bishops have butted heads with him over the changes he's trying to make and the things he has said, so much so that they have been threaten to be excommunicated from the Church if they don't abide by his rules and he's also clashed with the Knights of Malta because they refused to do something that he commanded them to do, I think it was the issuance of birth control or something.

Many think there is going to be "the" antichrist that comes on the scene that seems to settle all of mankind's problems, and there is an element of truth to that in a way, as the Bible states openly that there will be a cry of peace and security just before the end.

For what reasons did the reformers risk life and limb, (literally), in their damning accusations against the church which raised them? Nearly all the reformers were priests, with no intentions of forming new churches, but reforming the one they loved and held dear. Yet what have impetus to the Troutman was their accusing the very institution which educated and confirmed them in their faith, of being the dreaded Antichrist of prophetic scripture. Why?
Was it revenge for being excommunicated? No, they were excommunicated for the most part because of the accusations. Was it the worst insult they could come up with because of a personal grudge? Hardly. Or perhaps, as I believe, was it because they were serious students of the Bible and saw unmistakably the fulfilment of the many prophecies regarding Antichrist being played out perfectly before their very eyes?
As I said previously. The Bible gives specific criteria. I'm not plucking any random candidate out of the air. It isn't up to us to suggest names just because we think they are evil. That's not how this works. And it wasn't how the reformers came to their conclusions either. And if there was one thing they agreed on, it was they prophetic fulfillment of the Papacy as the Antichrist, with it's Pope as the embodiment and spokesman for the system they lead.
