well, i dont see “if it’s not too late” in there anywhere
I was responding to your post and what you brought up.

but the point was that no other “return” can even be Quoted, ferris
As far as I know there's only one return of Christ.
Hopefully, you don't think I made reference to more than one return of Christ, because I didn't.

Frankly, I was confused by your post. I don't know what you were driving at.

when He “returns?”
return to Me and I will return to you

"Return to me"
That's a condition.
it’s also the only “return” you’re gonna find, im pretty sure

one is one more than you can find in the Bible, near as i can tell

Frankly, I was confused by your post. I don't know what you were driving at

Christ is going to appear a second time...

"He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him." Hebrews 9:28
And only those who believed and continued to believe will be saved at his second coming.

The Bible says IF you keep believing.

You may want to read this again . . .

Colossians 3:1-4 KJV
1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Much love!

I'm just saying what the Bible says...

"we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast." Hebrews 3:6
Is the author of Hebrews casting doubt where God does not?
No, but you are.

Do you hold firmly? Then you are His house.

Much love!

Like I said, you can't read it apart from the rest of scripture.
That's called 'un-rightly dividing the word of God'.

The rest of the Bible says you have to continue to believe to continue to be risen with Christ.
Whether you or someone else thinks that's just going to happen automatically doesn't change the fact that you have to continue to believe in order to be saved.

"we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast." Hebrew 3:6

Like I said, you can't read it apart from the rest of scripture.

Again . . . are you suggesting that you have in mind another passage which means this one can't mean what it says?

Here what it says, and then figure out how the other passages will actually harmonize.

Engage with the passage itself. You still won't.

Much love!

What determines if you are risen with Christ?

Romans 6:3-11 KJV
3) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7) For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8) Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9) Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10) For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11) Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Much love!

I'm saying exactly what the Bible says, so how can I be casting doubt but the Bible isn't, lol?
Great! In that case, this is what the Bible says.

Do you actually believe what it says as it is written? Because it seems as though you do not.

Much love!

If you don't believe, then you're not risen with him, or you stopped being risen with him.
Or you've stopped being risen with Him.

I figured that was coming. It's the logical progression to your argument. But it does violence to the NT grammar.

That is, suffice to say, no where in the Bible.

Much love!

Is "raised" here something "ongoing"? Are you "raised with Christ" in this moment, and not in the next? Is that what this passage is teaching us. I don't think so.

It's given as an accomplished act, and the following statements are give to apply to the one who has been raised with Christ.

Ephesians 2:4-9 KJV
4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7) That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Much love!

Solomon Grundy would only be unsaved on Wednesday if he stopped believing on Tuesday.
If he didn't believe on Wednesday, he never truly believed on Tuesday either, whatever the profession.

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" (Philippians 1.6).
