The Word for 2022....

Every year (well almost every year) About this time, I spend time in prayer seeking God for a word concerning the upcoming year. Then I design a poster based on that word, and have that as my Windows background. This is the poster I make with the Word of the Lord I felt for the year 2022.....

I would always reflect on that word at the end of the year to see it’s relevance in my life over the previous 12months xx

@Rita Although I'm not into the New Year's Resolution thing, yet a stimulus to pray about the testimony opportunities of the coming year as informed by a diligent Bible reading habit, would be very encouraging... :)

This isn’t about resolutions Farouk, you literally pray for a word, one word, and allow the Holy Spirit to lay it on your heart. Sometimes the word comes really quickly, other times it take times, but there is a sense of knowing when that word is laid on your heart………

My pastor does this the end of every year for next year's topic. Ill pray about it. God has spoken to me a lot this year. Very thankful.

I read that the Oxford dictionary word of the year is perseverance.

Yes indeed dear sister . JESUS is a good word every single hour of every single day .
Be watching for you know not the hour your Lord does come .
The truth is , if we want folks saved then let us do all by the Spirit of grace to get Christ unto the peoples .
I dont know if you have noticed this , or not , but a lot of christendom is being taken under
a false revival . And i say false because they wont focus on Christ and sound doctrine , but rather
on just having unity for sake of unity . NOT UNITY under CHRIST . Let us preach the simplicity of Christ
found in that bible . The last thing anyone wants is to go under an example of what paul would call ,
another jesus or another gospel . WE must stick to the original gospel for it alone is the ONLY HOPE for a soul .

I grew up in the 70's in the Jesus movement,

Christian tracts, bumper stickers, street preaching, and yes I agree we are seeing a great falling away, as that mentioned above is unseen and silent

Faith comes by hearing the word of God,

Luke 10:1-12KJV
1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

Yes , GOD speaks to the lambs . But let us always remember something .
Test the spirits . If any man comes speaking and claiming this is of the LORD , yet it contradicts JESUS and the apostels doctrine ,
then no matter how it seemed to us , its false .
Even our own flesh can produce thoughts contrary to GOD . So we must always be refreshed in bible doctrine as well .

CONTENDERS for the true faith , MOUNT UP , its war and this war is for the very souls of men . Let us learn CHRIST
thus let us learn our bibles well . For by inspiration of the SPIRIT all was recorded for our learning . That we would grow wise
unto salvation through our faith in JESUS CHRIST .
MOUNT UP TRUTHSEVEN TO SEVEN . This war is gonna truly cost the lambs . BUT what costs us for CHRIST , IS GAIN FOR JESUS .
Be prepared to lose everything for the glorious sake of JESUS . AND STILL WE SHALL REJOICE . FOR IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE
is our life and the abundant life of a fullfilled life of joy , no matter what hardships we face . JESUS ALONE IS OUR HOPE .
AND what TREMENDOUS GREAT HOPE THIS IS . ARISE , for the hour is at hand
when many shall be betrayed . The time is on the rise when even those who ate with us
even those will betray us . Win souls and keep exhorting the peoples with pure and holy doctrine .

Yes indeed . JESUS . and now another word . Not muhammed , not buddah , not atheism , not gnostics ,
not any other religion or any other name . And be on gaurd for many can preach jesus , but it aint JESUS .
I suppose you already know well what i am saying . the uncaptilized jesus is just another jesus .
