So by that response I take it that you haven't yet received one of the spiritual gifts mentioned in scripture. If you are truly born again then all you need to do is ask.
I don't agree with the so called prosperity gospel but I do believe if I needed a bigger house or a car to carry what God required of me, then God would give them to me. I do not crave riches or possessions more than those I need.
For as much Bible as you quote on this forum, your understanding of it seems to be stilted or limited:
"And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Matt 18:2-3
That is the way we must come to God, fresh and uncorrupted and empty of the garbage of man's world, but to stay and grow as carnal men do, will only produce more dead adults... dead that is to God and the Way of God. So then...
"And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Milk to meat? How does one grow from infant to mature adult? Think not of the shadows in the ways of carnal men who remain carnal, but... think rather of the born again [born from above] men who grow from day to day more like Jesus.

Montanism, also called Cataphrygian was an early church heresy basically the same as the charismaniacs and is condemned heresy by the order of the apostles with authority from Christ!
Generalizing too much, without making it clear to your audience that you are doing that, often will cause even more misunderstandings. When we are really discussing, with another person, should we not try to accurately communicate our thoughts or intentions to that person?
Neither @Pearl or myself have even hinted belief in a "properity gospel". Please do not presume things about that we have not said. If you are uncertain, ask!
I have mentioned to you before about lumping people altogether as there were no differences between them. Even among Catholics, as you know, there are differences. If you are not paying attention to where we are in the Lord, why should anyone pay attention to what you are saying?
As to "no tongues" consider what Apostle Paul wrote about it:
"I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:" I Cor 14:18
"Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues." I Cor 14:39
So again I ask if which gifts of the Spirit has the Holt Spirit given to you?

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

Is there any reference in scripture of an interpretation of the tongues Paul used?
