Already a good day. Someone responded to my ad on freecycle.org for scrapbooking supplies.

It's amazing what you can get secondhand or for free.

As I type this, my husband is having a go at creative journaling-- a tradeoff for him getting me to play his video game.

I have to say, it so far is better imo than anything Ive ever done so far.

Visually, it takes more risks, but the payoff is that I feel more emotion when looking at it.

Here is what he did:

It was a bit better of a day. Got out and went to see a movie with a friend and had church this morning. It was really nice.

My day was largely like the rest. Going to a job I'd rather leave if I could ever find my ideal job to replace it. A legitimate work from home.

Got gyped 30 hours this pay period, paid for 10 hours in a week.
My timecard proves I worked but a shift super had to timestamp when I put in hours at different offices. Oh, look! They didn't do that.

Now I'm told those hours will be added to my next check in two weeks. While my mortgage needed that money now!

Multimillion dollar corporations and their math. What fun.

Sunny but chilly with a frost last night. And the new pink top I'd ordered was delivered today. Also I'm washing some cushion covers - a start to the spring cleaning. Do you do that in the US or Oz?

Yikes! I pray your mortgage will get paid. God provides, but that stinks.

We do. In the town where I grew up, they city had an official "spring cleaning day" in which the Sanitation department would waive the pick-up charge for large bulky items like discarded furniture. The week before pick-up was effectively a city-wide yard sale as one man's trash is another man's treasure. My parents threw out this old chair that our dog had "marked" multiple times and the upholstery stank horribly on hot, humid days. Somebody salvaged it, of course. We wouldn't have been the least bit surprised to see it back out on the curb as soon as summer rolled around.

I wasnt sure where to put this, but it makes me laugh. Just random thoughts I had earlier today in conversation.

This is what I think y'all's invisible staff forums are named. Either:

1) mod squad
2) moder-nator "I'll be Back"
3) Superhero Central
