We all have Secret thoughts that would shame Hell.....let’s thank God for His Grace and forget about trying to find a life of sinless Perfection while we sustain these weak, stumbling “ vessels of clay”.......We will know Perfection “ Over There”...

Jesus' perfect sacrifice destroyed the veil that blocked entry into the Holy of Holies, allowed us to receive the Holy Spirit and thus empowered us to obey God's Commandments - making us capable of being right with God without endless animal sacrifices for sins.

If the 10 Commandments were abolished at the Cross, sin would no longer be relevant and 1 John 3:4 wouldn't define sin with the present tense word 'IS' in its definition of them being the breaking of the 10 Commandments.

Scripture just doesn't support your party's nonsense claims.

I think the best way to show Love to God is to do His Will.....What is the Will Of God? “Believe on the One that He sent”.....that alone pleases God enough that He will forgive you for all of your sins ...

big difference between “bringing down as many” vs false converts. It would seem that salvation is harder to come by than many understand. It aint like joining the Boy Scouts.

Try harder? To do what ? Keep the Law ? That is an impossible task, and even if you could you would find yourself barking up the wrong tree because “ By The Works Of The Law, NO Flesh will be Justified”
We are not Saved by “ Trying”..... We are Saved by “Trusting”..... put your Total Faith in the Shed Blood Of Jesus to Save you completely .....If you do that God will put His Spirit in you and you will “ find yourself” being more Obedient by accident than you ever were by trying so hard to sustain a high level of Performance lest you be cast into Hell.....
Love is what Christianity is all about .....Love is the Engine that drives Obedience ....trying to be obedient in order to get Saved or stay Saved is a Fool’s Errand .....everything you do with that confused mind- set is just a “Dead Work”..... as they say — “ Let go and let God”....

Like I say, it's not "commandment following" - it's avoiding those activities that get us into trouble.

I don’t think there is a specific verse that makes that claim.....there is also no specific verse that maintains that pigs can fly....

If you can read the Sermon on the Mound where Jesus makes it clear that a lustful thought is just as damning as an actual act of Adultery and come away from that still thinking that you don’t sin every day .....you are as blind as the guy that believes in flying pigs....

He was in anguish to the point that he even returned the money to the religious leaders....so miserable and full of remorse for what he had done he could no longer live with himself that he committed suicide.........had he turned to God for forgiveness instead of turning to a hangman’s noose, he could have been saved .....he spent years traveling with Jesus and never learned a thing....a very sad tale....

I don't see any need to sin every day.

There is no “ need” to sin, but if you are a human being in a body of flesh , it is unavoidable....is your “ thought life “ pure? And then there are the “ Sins of Omission” —- how many poor and hungry strangers have you invited into your home lately..... when it comes to sin, God has us “ trapped like rats”..... one can’t escape it.....we’d best go get us some Grace......it’s the ONLY Answer ....that’s why it’s the way to get Saved—— “ By GRACE you are saved.....”

Sure it can....He May demand that you pluck out your eye if your eye causes you to lust....He May be trying to get you to “ come to the end of yourself” in regard to you trying to “clean yourself up” and mistakenly thinking that you can Earn Heaven.....He May be wanting to hear , “ Lord, I can’t do it ...I can’t achieve your Standard —- I need a Savior —- please save me !”

A guy like that now has the Contrite Heart that God can work with....that guy is Saved...” Turn to me and I will turn to you” ......if you lack a Contrite Heart, you have not even arrived at the Starting Gate Of Christianity.....Jesus can make impossible demands to make people Contrite or Repentant ....Nobody can even obey the First Commandments —- Do YOU love God with * ALL” of your heart, mind and soul ? Nope ....nobody does this 24/7 .....one best get a “ Loop-Hole”...... Jesus said that we must be Perfect to go to Heaven.....if you are like me and fail in that regard, take the same way of escape that I did—- Believe the Gospel Of 1Cor15:1-4.....it reveals what God did for Lost Sinners like us and NOT what us lost sinners did for God....
