they are Christian faith
To reject them is to reject the Christian faith and Christ who revealed it!

Are you rejecting them?

are you saying your not a Christian?
They are putrid false doctrine.

Guess he says it all, still reverberating after his death.

Blessings

Nope he is speaking nonsense... God already wrote what is right in our hearts.
Romans 2:15
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

The scriptures are for our learning and understanding... growth depends on our obedience. People can read scripture all day long, and not grow at all.
2Pet 3
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Regarding the OP...

I firmly believe that the Bible alone is the only valid source of all beliefs and doctrines of Christianity. It is astonishing to me how much has been added to what the Bible says! The RCC is the worst offender, but some Protestant denominations have also added a lot of unscriptural "baggage".

Sola scriptura.

Jude 1:4
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

is that you?

denying our Lord?
denying His divinity?

What does this mean in English?

that does not refer to the apostles, saints, doctors, and fathers
But to heretics!

helvidius, arias, (who denies his Lord, rejected the divinity of christ, sound familiar) the Albigensian’s, hussites, wicliffeites, Protestants, modernist’s etc.

You're actually condemning these groups as "heretics"? Seriously?

BTW, you might start spelling their names correctly. No apostrophes, no capitalization, etc.

If you can do what Spurgeon did in his time I'll listen to you.
Blessings
J.
Did Spurgeon die for your sins? What did Spurgeon do that you would listen to him but not the apostles who head directly from Jesus?
The scripture teaches we don't war after the flesh...
2 Corinthians 10:3
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
...Spurgeon taught..."Our warfare is with men who are giving up the atoning sacrifice, denying the inspiration of Holy Scripture, and casting slurs upon justification by faith."

Tale of two cities!

The city of God!

The city of man / Satan!

The race of man, after its miserable fall from God, the Creator and the Giver of heavenly gifts, "through the envy of the devil," separated into two diverse and opposite parts, of which the one steadfastly contends for truth and virtue, the other of those things which are contrary to virtue and to truth.

The one is the kingdom of God on earth, namely, the true Church of Jesus Christ; and those who desire from their heart to be united with it, so as to gain salvation, must of necessity serve God and His only-begotten Son with their whole mind and with an entire will.

The other is the kingdom of Satan, in whose possession and control are all whosoever follow the fatal example of their leader and of our first parents, those who refuse to obey the divine and eternal law, and who have many aims of their own in contempt of God, and many aims also against God.

This twofold kingdom St. Augustine keenly discerned and described after the manner of two cities, contrary in their laws because striving for contrary objects; and with a subtle brevity he expressed the efficient cause of each in these words: "Two loves formed two cities: the love of self, reaching even to contempt of God, an earthly city; and the love of God, reaching to contempt of self, a heavenly one." At every period of time each has been in conflict with the other, with a variety and multiplicity of weapons and of warfare, although not always with equal ardour and assault.

The city of God: Flock of sheep!

The new covenant church of Jesus Christ!

Calm waters / green pastures
No changes
Faithful
obedience
Submissive
Rules, rituals, commandments
Christians saints
Rightous Children of God
Humble
Meek
Patience
The communion of saints!

City of man / Satan: Flock of goats!

The flock that rocks!

Rocky places
Constant change
Unfaithful protesting
Disobedience
Rebellion
Protests
Heretics full of errors
Children of unrighteousness
Pride
Presumptuous
Arrogance
The camp of heretics!

And all fundamentalist Protestants and albagensians, wiclyfe, Hus
Etc

why do we need to GROW in grace?
I thought we had imputed righteousness?
All the same? Equal?

2Pe_3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

....because it is an Imperative from the scriptures

Excellent question...I'll leave this to the "learned scholars" on this forum to give you a reply...butt;

1Co_1:4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
1Co_3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

Eph_1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph_2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph_2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Eph_2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph_3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Eph_4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Is xharis given, or by imputation?

Eph 2:5 what does quickened mean?

Ephesians 2:4-5, "But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in offenses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you are saved!" NET

If you used a good, modern translation you wouldn't need to ask this question.
