This is what is needed to be saved!

When God said, “Do not make graven images,” He wasn’t saying, “Do not make images of any kind,” because He later commanded people to make images! So, taken, let's keep it real: He was forbidding the creation of images people would worship in idolatry.

Do you have and images of your family, friends, loved ones, pets etc. in your house? According to what your men have taught you it sounds like you should take them down if you think that having an image of anything is graven!

I wonder why you Protestants have images of the cross without Him on it? Does it upset your tummy to see what He did for you?

I would presume a Protestant leaves a cross bare because Jesus ascended back to Heaven from whence He Came.

I won't argue that point. I would have to see the keyboard. So far that virtual keyboard has not become a necessity.


It is good as long as it is possible. I am already working on things and learning things all of the time at my own pace with my Bibles, my computer, my stamps, my autobiography, my pictures, a little bit on this forum and several other projects that continue seemingly without end. I certainly work slower than I once did so where would I find the time for a new one?

I hate the idea of buying a new computer anymore because of the changes made which have to be understood to continue what I what doing already on the old one. When I bought my current one a few years ago I only discovered after I had it all hooked up that it had no slot for CDs and DVDs like the old one. I bought and external drive to cover me on that. There were other things, some good, and some not so good. Learning them all was the headache.



That is one of my ongoing projects although it does not bear that name. Yes, I may live for many years yet, but I also might die before the sun goes down. My maternal grandmother lived to her 100th birthday. I am not sure I would want to do that, but it is not up to me, is it?

I understand exactly where you are coming from. I had to buy myself a new mobile for work. I needed the latest tech so I could manage trips and conversations butt it took me ages to master it. I am sure there are features that I have yet not plumbed the depths of.
My wife was complaining that her phone was show and not doing everything she wanted. I bought a new one. Not as flash as mine, but new tech. Took ages to set it up for her... She doesn't like it. To complicated. Still using the old one lol.

And we will stand before Him in the judgement as individuals taking individual responsibility for our decisions and actions. The church... The Pope...
