For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

No. The end of the law for righteousness is Jesus.

Jesus is not the ending of the law of God, nor the righteousness of His law.

Neither God nor His law are dead.

True, it has with the OT.

Not the law of Christ for the NT.

The law of God has changed from that of Moses to Christ, not has been ended and killed by Christ altogether.

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

The law keeps us out of trouble, if we keep it.

No. The end of the law for righteousness is Jesus.

"The Law is the power of sin"
"Christ came to redeem you from the CURSE of THE LAW".
The born again, are "not under the LAW, but under Grace">

Reader.... when a heretic tries to get you away from the Grace of God, and back under OT MOSES LAW, you be sure to notice.

Keeping MOSES OT LAW, cant make you righteous, and it can't get you into heaven.
Nor can the 10 Commandments.
But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31:33 RSV

Are you the "house of Israel" ?
You're a JEW?

I dont think so, BOB.

So, as a gentile, in the "time of the Gentiles", you listen to the "Gentile Apostle", who is PAUL.
He has a GOSPEL , just for you.

What God is telling us is that he will teach each of us, individually, what is required. Paul tells us to pray constantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We'd best do that, wouldn't you say?

.
The passage below is deliberately misquoted. Watch for the revision.

Rom 10:4 . . For Christ is the extermination of the law for righteousness to
everyone who believes.

I really don't think the law has been exterminated. In point of fact, it is by
faith in Christ that his followers satisfy the law's requirements.

Matt 5:17 . . Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I
did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.

Rom 3:31 . .Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can
forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we
truly fulfill the law.

Nope the Mosaic LAW is eternal. since Born again Christians have been Judged by the LAW (by their own consent) and nailed to the cross with Jesus - i.e. their "Old Man" is Dead, the Mosaic law has no further ability to condemn them

Is Jesus the End of the Law?

He certainly brought the teaching of it to an end.
"God spoke in times past by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son" (Hebrews 1:1/2)
In other words God has no further messages to pass on to the human race, he's already said it all and the ball is now in our court....:)

What God is telling us

He is not telling you anything in that verse, unless you are the House of Israel.
And you are not., and you will never be.

Do not apply from the Bible, what isn't for you, to yourself.
This is the fundamental and continual mistake of a person who cannot rightly divide the word.

I don't think it's a good idea to ignore what God told the Jews. Clearly, much of it is meant for our ears. He told the Jews that homosexuality is an abomination. Therefore, homosexuality is an abomination, whether or not you are a Jew. He never said that homosexuality was just an abomination for the Jews.

When asked how to have eternal life, Jesus quoted several of the Ten Commandments (Mark 10:17-19), so I wouldn't ignore what the Lord said to the Jews.

the Mosaic LAW is eternal

The covenant that Moses' people agreed upon with God per Exodus,
Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy has quite a few miles left on it but,
nevertheless, is on its last legs.

Heb 8:13 . . In that He says "A new covenant" He has made the first
obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish
away.

THE LAW (since it's God's will for his people) WILL NEVER PASS AWAY - it's eternal. What HAS passed away is the ond Temple sacrifice process where livestock was slaughtered by the box lot to COVER people's SIN.

Jesus, on the other hand died as the perfect SIN OFFERING, which didn't COVER SIN, but totally cleansed it, leaving Born Again Christians completely perfect before God.

The LAW is eternal. but it's ability to destroy, for those born again of the Holy Spirit (by FAITH Eph 2:8,9), is gone.
