I really saw the Holy Spirit or holy Ghost with my own eyes. What does that mean?

because still not sure if it was real or an illusion in the eye i sometimes get that and thought it was a sign but i am wrongshe meant me
You've heard it said God works in mysterious ways.

With the sincerity of her seeking God, which was severe to the point of death.
I would have been surprised if God didn't show himself.

I am not jealous; jealous is big sin:)
God is also a jealous God
Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
jealousy vs envy
Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?
in some versions it is not envy but jealousy
without the interpreter i am only confusing you because i do not know as well

@Siddhi Koli
when you fast + pray you are strengthening your faith everything will become possible even the mountains will obey you
Matthew 17:20-21 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

I am a cerebral palsy person. I'm not lying I saw the Holy Spirit as a golden dove

Hello Siddhi, and blessings in Christ Jesus to you.

So you understand, many Christians will sometimes become concerned that it could it a counterfeit spirit that you saw, so they may ask you questions to clarify things.

What you should do is study the Bible as much as you can, so that when this Spirit leads you, you can check to see if its guidance is in keeping with the word of God. I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit myself, so I know the experience is real, but I will not accept any doctrine or teaching that contradicts God's word, no matter what spirit guides me to do so. But we certainly hope what you experienced was indeed the Holy Spirit. :)

Glad you joined our community to share your experience either way, and blessings to you once again. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you richly in all good things.

Your friend,

I believe you. I was also in my car when I received the Holy Spirit. I felt the Spirit physically in waves and waves beginning at the top of my head and flowing down over me and in me and through me. It was probably some weeks later that I wondered, if I had looked in the mirror, would I have seen the tongues of flame…?

I literally felt the oil of joy run down me

Wow. I didn't know you received the baptism, SBG.

When was this, recently or quite a long time ago?

Will Jesus Really Forgive Me? For past sins

Of course He will, and this is a very good sign right here, Siddhi (below):
100 percent is really going to happen. Amen

You are believing. In Christianity, salvation is based on faith; faith in God that He will forgive us if we believe on Jesus Christ to cleanse us of our sins; faith that He will provide for us; faith that He will reveal to us all truth, and protect us from harm.

Keep trusting in Him through faith, Siddhi. He will reveal to you all things, and not only that but reserve for you a place in Heaven for all eternity. :)

It’s odd to me that you would be surprised. Many in here have received the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

Oh. Yes. There are some. Most of us in no way believe gifts of the Spirit have ceased.

This community has had a number of Charismatics here, yes, and there's still plenty among the leadership. But we have a lot more Jehovahs Witnesses here now, and I believe they consider Him merely to be an "impersonal force."

I'm guessing if they ever had your experience, they might consider revising their stand on that issue a little bit, LoL.

Ive been struggling with it all here a bit recently. I do know however, that some of His are in denominations because He will say, come out of her My people. But I’m greatly puzzled when I see people stuck in denominational stances that cause them to see only half of the verses pertaining to a matter.

It's because there are spirits in the earth specifically sent to deceive with false doctrine. Not much can be done about it sometimes other than to pray.

But I will say this. To me there are two things that can get their attention: The first is love, and the second is manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit that confirm the original teachings of the church. Just trying to argue them into things doesn't seem to help much, so I only do it if I see them starting to deceive others. Otherwise, I just try to be courteous and friendly, and wait for opportunities. The issues they like to debate (such as the Deity of Christ especially) are often tougher to debate than many realize, unfortunately, so going that route can be something of a time-consuming rabbit trail that I try to avoid.

Yeah, that just so happens to be the one I was involved in for a few days. It got stranger and stranger! In the end, the woman had painted herself into a corner where no one could read the gospel and be saved since it was too corrupted, with worship translated wrongly in many places and God mistranslated in many places.
The only way for them to be saved would be to read it in a different language apparently. :rolleyes:
