Cast lots, 50/50 chance that shows impartiality. Then if the lot is in favor of the saint let that one choose to give it up or not. Or have the Saint opt out of the draw voluntarily. This way their sacrifice is to their credit before God and man.

Thats the funniest thing i've heard on this forum
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

You think it’s funny that Jesus is made a sinner by your notion that anger is sin?

“And when [Jesus] had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.” (Mark 3:5)

Thats righteous indignation
The only type of anger that might not be sinful
Otherwise anger is a sin

You should make a poll to see how many people think anger is not a sin.
I bet not many will agree

Yes choosing sinner or saint is a tough question. I added casting lots for that reason. As I thought about.

My idea was slightly different than yours, but the scriptures say there is no better friend than one who would gives his life for his friend. :)

I don’t care what people “think”.

The Holy Bible does not say that anger is a sin.

The scriptures teach not to let anger cause you to sin:

“Be angry and do not sin” (Ephesians 4:26)

The Bible is the authority, not man.

I think your hilarious. Anger is not a sin you say...
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Righteous anger is not a sin depending on how you act on it. God can be angry, but with man that can definitely be sin. So I agree with you on that part. But anger is not always a sin for man. I also am of the belief that all men sin daily. As the directives and doctrine of Christ is to perfection of behavior in tending to the poor and needy and obeying the commandments. Not something any man can do perfectly.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

Hopefully this is OK with forum rules.
It's OK with forum rules, but not OK with plain common sense. Since saints are already saved, and you can not "unsave" them, then the only ones needing salvation are sinners. I assume you mean offer them the Gospel and urge them to believe on Christ.

Yes, because:

“…when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins… did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.” (Romans 7:5)

But now that the gospel is preached:

“…ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.” (Romans 8:9)

And if the Spirit of God dwell in you and abides:

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” (1 John 3:6)

It was a question I was interested in hearing regarding what people on this forum would choose. As I'm somewhat undecided, I leaned towards saving the sinner. But that could change.

While this is true, we are also given the doctrine of confession and repentance, and that is because God knows we will sin and are not perfect although the Holy Spirit is perfect:

James 5:16

16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Saints are still sinners, no one is free from the temptation of sin, even our feelings can be sins so I don't believe people when they say their sinless because everyone has felt anger, lust and envy before and they're sins.

I chose the unrepentant sinner but only if there is a chance that they will repent

Yes, I would choose the unbeliever (the way I understand the choice of sinner and saint) because I can't stand the thought of anyone dying outside of Jesus. I would then pray that they would be brought into the kingdom one day.

Hopefully this is OK with forum rules. But I wanted to see what people think.

You've been exposed to a killer virus and your a vaccine maker. You had time to complete one dose of the new antidote. There are two people that are near death, and you can save one with the single dose of the antidote you have. One is a known sinner, the other is a saint. Which do you save?
SIlly question. the "Saint" is already O.K. AND whether they live or die physically is unimportant.

The SINNER, on the other hand, is the one who's in REAL DANGER of eternal hell, SO SAVE HIM, SO HE HAS A CHANCE TO REPENT.

Next question???

OK, silly question to some. But this is the ethics and morality section. And God has killed sinners in the bible and so did Moses. With the new testament we were given a new directive apparently. So that muddies up the water some so that things aren't so clear.

Just the murder in your heart.

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed

evil thoughts,
adulteries,
fornications,
murders,
Thefts,
covetousness,
wickedness,
deceit,
lasciviousness,
an evil eye,
blasphemy,
pride,
foolishness:

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” (Mark 7:21-23)

Anger is not on the list.

And I don’t have murder in my heart, I have the word of God in my heart that has this effect on rebels:

“they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.” (Acts 5:33)

“When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.” (Acts 7:54)

So who’s the one with murder in their hearts again?

You reference James 5:16.

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16)

Once you are healed sin no more.

“Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” (John 5:14)

Without question I would save the one who didn’t have eternal life yet.
And the one who did have eternal life would also be begging for that.
