No.

1. Lost sinner needs the blood to be sinless (1 John 1:7).

2. If the lost sinner claims to have no sin without confessing, the truth (Jesus) is not in him (1 John 1:8).

3. If the lost sinner confesses his sin, Jesus will cleanse him of all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

4. Lost sinner now becomes sinless (1 John 3:9).

5. Sinless saint is warned not to sin anymore. (John 5:24; John 8:11; 2 Peter 2:20; Hebrews 10:26-27).

6. If the sinless saint sins again, he has no more remedy (Hebrews 10:29).
ahh,

so we are back to the same old stuff again. you made a statement "only if we do not confess" but it was just fluff.

Your wrong my friend, You are deceived when you claim you NEVER serve self or place your needs above someone elses needs. That is not me saying it, it is john saying it

I am without sin because:

The Lamb of God took them away (John 1:29).

And I suffer for Christ’s sake:

“…for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin” (1 Peter 4:1)
Your not without sin. And your decieved if you think you are

Your also unable to be taught by God when you do sin, because you deny you have any.

You have arrived when even paul said he did not arrive.. Good luck with that my friend.

You are calling John a liar:

“…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29)

EG says, “No!”

“Christ didn’t take them away, You are deceived!”
He did take the penalty of sin away. Just like the lamb of the sacrifice took the penalty away

see how you distort scripture?

The lamb was to make atonement for sin. not stop sin.

The lamb of God did the same.

That same author said if we say we have n sin (he included himself) we are decieved.,

I am not decieved my friend. I seek God to show me my sin.

You can't do that. Because you think you have arrived.

He did take the penalty of sin away

Penalty of sin?

You offer this unbiblical Once Saved Always Saved talking point in the face of scripture that says no such thing?

I see that you also are seeing red mirages in the scripture as well:

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the penalty
of
sin of the world.” (John 1:29)

I'm afraid that is not the correct interpretation of 1 Peter 4:1.

"he that has suffered in the flesh" is referring to the battle between the flesh and the spirit.

When one stops trying to live his life of his own will (self effort) and depend on the Holy Spirit, the battle with sin begins to become less and less, and finally that battle ceases. It is not the sin that ceases. But there will definitely be less sin to the point of not practicing sin, which is where Christ wants you to be.

But of course, if you see yourself as having arrived in this life, no one can show you anything.

You will continue to cast stones being above everyone else and making a fool of yourself. Just saying....

You have a problem with some Scripture. 'Says God moved David.

2 Sam 24:1
And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

No. I do not have a problem with Scripture.

James 1:13 says,
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:”

James 1:13 says God does not tempt any man. If God directly moved David to sin, then that would be temptation on God's part and God would be contradicting His own Word in that He tempts no man.

1 Chronicles 21:1 explains who the identity of the he really is in 2 Samuel 24:1.

1 Chronicles 21:1 says,
And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.”

Now here is 2 Samuel 24:1 with commentary based on the facts given to us in 1 Chronicles 21:1.

2 Samuel 24:1
“And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he [i.e. Satan - 1 Chronicles 21:1] moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.”

See. No contradiction here. God does not tempt man to sin just as James 1:13 says. But of course you don't believe James 1:13 (among many other verses).

Penalty of sin?
Thats what Atonement s

You offer this unbiblical Once Saved Always Saved talking point in the face of scripture that says no such thing?
I just preach what the word says

It says I have been redeemed
I have been purchased
I have been justified.
I have been given life. after the PENALTY of sin was removed which made me dead.

Your fighting a doctrine. Try to to seek trueth and stop trying to fight a doctrine. it has you blind.

I see that you also are seeing red mirages in the scripture as well:

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the
sin of the world.” (John 1:29)

You need to see red.

and you need to study up on what the lamb of the atoning sacrifice did on the day of atonement

Until then, your making yourself look bad.

So What does CEASE FROM SIN mean other than stopping to sin?

I got to hear this one…

You can't leave out what Peter said, "he who has suffered in the flesh."

This is what you want to leave out! But this is the key of the whole matter.

The battle between the flesh and the spirit because of man's natural desire to sin.

This battle will cease if you if you do as Peter said in the next verse.

Vs. 2 ...."but to do the will of God." His will is that you depend on what he has given you, the Holy Spirit.

In no way is this speaking of sinless perfection!

The red you highlighted is not a mirage though…[/qupte]

Your right it is not. it is an image, that any jew who understood the sacrificial system and the lambs place would understand.. so why can't you?

What do you recommend I read to understand your doctrine? Because I can’t see your doctrine in the Bible unless I start tampering it.
I recomomend you set all your beliefs aside, and with an open heart read the word.

Your so busy fighting OSAS. you can not see the word.. because anything which may support OSAS would be rejected by you ie your closed minded

@Charlie24

WHAT DOES CEASE FROM SIN MEAN?

Hmm?

There is your problem!!! You refuse to accept the full verse and pick what you want to support.

That is called cherry-picking!

"Cease from sin" does not mean what you are trying to make it say.

There is a matter of "suffering in the flesh" and that must be defined in order to define the part you are interested in.
