studying Charity. (Paraphrasing what it seems to be saying to me)
Romans 14
I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but him who thinks anything to be unclean, to him…it is unclean.
if your brother is hurt because of food,
(there is no debate); you so sin against Christ. (1 Corinthians 8:12
And you no longer walk according to the Spirit in Love (which is His strength) for Charity fails not, but according to the flesh(which is weak); when you hurt your brother because of food …you no longer walk Charitably towards your brother. (Fail in one point, you fail in all.)
Do not destroy your brother whom Christ died for, with your food.
The kingdom of God is not
Eating and drinking
But righteousness and peace.
it is him who in this way serves Christ, acceptable to God approved of men
we pursue the things which make peace and the building up of one another.
Do not tear down the work of God, for the sake of food. It is good not to cause your brother to stumble.
The faith you have,
have as your own conviction before God.
happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves:
happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. Do we condemn ourselves in the approval of the tearing down another?
when you sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience…you sin against Christ. (1 Corinthians 8:11)
whatever is not in faith is sin.
Do you condemn your brother to eat, what to him is unclean?
Do you not yet know, thinking you know something —maybe you need to become a fool that your might be made wise—thinking you know something but not knowing what you ought: that the strong ought to bear the weakness of those (yet) without strength.
do we please ourselves?
or do we please Him who:
While we were (yet) without strength, became weak that we should be made strong?
Each are to please his neighbor for his good edification (for this is the fulfillment of Christ)
For Christ, as you have read and believed,
Did not please Himself.
But it is written.
“the reproach of those who reproached you, fell on Me.”
What is written for our instruction (2 Timothy 3:16), is profitable unto righteousness. (Romans 15:4)
Through perseverance and the encouragement of the scriptures, that we might have hope. (2 Timothy 3:17)
Now may God who gives us perseverance and encouragement, grant you the same mind towards one another.
Let this mind be in you, that was in Christ.
Charity suffers long and is kind,
Charity envies not, and is not puffed up.
Charity Thinks no evil:
Charity rejoices in the truth.
The verse of the day: 1 Peter 4:9-11
Above all keep fervent in your Love
For one another,
Because Love covers a multitude of sins.
be hospitable toward one another.
without complaint.
As each has received a (special) gift, so give: employing it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold Grace of God.
Whoever speaks, [is to do so] as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves [is to do so] serving by the strength which God supplies; So that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs glory and dominion always.
For God demonstrates His Love (Charity), in while we were yet without out strength
as the strong ought to bear those weak and (yet) without strength…He bearers us. (1 Peter 5:7)

happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves:
either approving: the tearing down of the weak, for whom Christ died, persecuting the work of God …for the sake of food.
or either: approving Charity (Love): the Kingdom of God is righteousness and peace: the building up of one another.

though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not Charity (not given for tearing down, but for building one another up),
I’ve become a brass or tinkling symbol.
though I have all prophecy—
understanding all mysteries—
all knowledge—
and though I have all faith to move those mountains…yet misuse Charity for tearing down instead of the building up of another
I am nothing.

Charity envies not, and is not puffed up.
Knowledge puffs up.
Charity edifies one another.
Charity seeks not her own (but that of another), Charity is not easily provoked,Charity edifies one another.
Charity Thinks no evil:
Philippians 4:7-8 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Charity rejoices in the truth.
While we were helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Charity rejoices in the truth.
God demonstrates HIS own Love (Charity) towards us…not with lips service…but in that while we were yet sinners (yet without strength), Christ died for us.
