I sometimes wonder if the reason that "not even the Son know the day or hour" is because God The Father has not spoken it yet. Jesus only does and acts upon what the Father say's/does...?Only the Father knows.

Harold Camping, holding on line 2.
I believe there are two events, the rapture and the glorious appearing. When the Father does send the Son, the Son won’t be taking the bride to heaven.
The Son will be sitting on David’s throne in Jerusalem and the bride will be managing the earth with him.
“The government will be on his shoulders”
I never saw where Chuck Missler predicted any dates for the rapture. I have his book on the rapture. There's a queue forming. William Miller, Ellen White, Charles Taze, Herbert Armstrong--- all cut from the same cloth, Harold Camping as mentioned, -Chuck Smith and Chuck Missler of Calvary Chapel notoriety, oh and the black Nike bunch here in San Diego-- Marshall Applewhite and Heaven's Gate. There have been many others, all wrong.

I think the rapture will be in the twinkling of an eye. You are talking about the glorious appearing.Do you think when Jesus returns he will make a U turn and go back to heaven?

A lot of people were wrong about Y2K. I still haven't seen anything where Chuck Missler set a date for the rapture. He had some weird fascinations with UFO's and the Nephilim but I never knew him to be a date setter. Two peas in a pod. Chuck 1 wrote "End Times" in 1978. Big flop. Chuck 2 became infamous for his hyper-anxious false Y2K predictions. One Chuck sat under the other..... How much paper could two Chucks chuck?
They produced- "Countdown to Eternity" together in 1997.
Rev 19:7I only see one event.
In the classroom setting, some students expressed belief in Jesus making a U turn. Sometimes permanent; sometimes temporary. Those who held the temporary view called it “Go and go” [again].
Still others expressed their belief that Jesus isn’t coming back at all. Their thinking was that heaven is the place to be, there’s nothing left to come back here for.
Rev 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 19:9
¶
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Rapture; John 14:1-3, Romans 8:19, 1 Corinthians 1:7-8, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, 1 Corinthians 16:22I only see one event.

It's okay. Not expecting it to happen then. Would be nice. Would be nice if it happens today. I prefer the Biblical stance that no one knows when the Lord is going to return except for our Heavenly Father. I'm not sure why people seem to waste so much time trying to predict when that will be. Then they're proven wrong over and over again. You'd think they'd finally catch on, right? And when it doesn't happen?
I remember his quote whenever I read someone claim there is no reference to rapture in scripture.
''Some argue against the Rapture by saying the word doesn’t even appear in the Bible, but it does. As I’ve said, we have to read it in the Vulgate, the Latin version of the Bible. There the Greek word harpazo is translated rapiemur, the proper tense of rapio, the root of our English words “rapt” and “rapture.”
Rest in peace sir.
