"Real believers want to talk about what actually matters., as talking about SIN, is for sinners, not for Saints."

This is from a 'real believer' that is openly saying how they never preach against sinning to themselves, but only to unbelievers. They will gladly preach against sin to others, who need it, but never to themselves, who don't want to hear about it.

And since they are the ones in attendance at their churches, then that means sin can never be preached against from the pulpit.

We've all heard of certain Christians seeking out such churches, where sin is not preached against, but no one has yet said it so plainly before.

Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.

So, this explains why Adam didn't heed the warning of the LORD in the garden. He was the first real believer, that only wanted to talk about the good things of freely doing whatever he wanted, but then stopped listening when the LORD went negative about something he could not do and be condemned for.

So the LORD was in error according to real believers, when talking about the danger of sinning, to first real believer Adam who had not sinned yet.

That would include the prophets speaking against sinning to the really believing children of Israel, and the apostles that talk about not sinning to really believing Christians.

Is it true then, that Adam only got angry and sinned against God, because God first told him not to? Is that why churches where sin is preached against, have so much sinning going on?

Is it only the churches where they refuse to hear anything negative about sinning, are where the only true believers are not sinning at all?

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil?

Ahab was a really believing king of Israel, who only wanted to hear and talk about good things to be preached to him.

Well it looks like you and Ahab wouldn't have cared much for Jesus or Paul.

They didn't just step on toes, they kicked you around a bit when it came to sin.

The average church today doesn't want to offend anyone with sin, let's see how that turns out at the judgement.

I think it was Paul who called them hirelings, the feel good kind who smile a lot and don't talk about the sin that nailed Christ to the Cross.

That would be the one I am quoting and Ahab. I went back and put real believer in italics, so as not to be confused as one of them. Thanks.

So many words of man and so few words of God in this topic. Those few words of God offered all come from the Tanakh.

I would offer only one thought: “I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

(I wasn’t sure you had heard the good news.)

Typical OSAS evasion. No one can be right with God, when they can't even be honest about themselves. The ground must be honest first, before it can ever be made good.

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.

The good news for the righteous is that the Spirit of God is now poured out upon all flesh to convict all men everywhere of sin, that they may now freely come to Jesus to be forgiven and delivered of sinning.

The unrighteous hypocrites love hearing about free forgiveness, and hate being told to repent first.

I agree that men (and women) can now "come to Jesus to be forgiven and delivered of sinning." [Luke 7:47-48; 1 John 2:12]
I think that I disagree with "the Spirit of God is now poured out upon all flesh to convict all men everywhere of sin" and was wondering if you have Scripture references to support that.

I wouldn't know ... I have never met such a person. In my personal case, the "Faith" came as a gift from God and repentance flowed as naturally as breathing (I could no more NOT REPENT than I could NOT BREATHE: as physical life requires breath, so spiritual life requires repentance.)

A petrified "sin tracker" who thinks about sin, talks about sin, and looks for sin to avoid, all the day long, never realizing the truth of John 1[29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb OF God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 8[36] IF the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

The Spirit of God is now poured out upon all men on earth.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me.

It is the Comforter that now convicts all men of sinning, because He comes to draw to repentance and not just to condemn for sinning.

God's mercy bought with the price of Jesus, is to convict men of sinning. If we refuse conviction for sinning, we have no hope to repent and be saved.

The doctrine of preforgiveness of all sinning, and not being condemned anymore for anything we do, whether good or evil, teaches searing the conscience to the conviction of the Spirit.

I wouldn't know ... I have never met such a person. In my personal case, the "Faith" came as a gift from God and repentance flowed as naturally as breathing (I could no more NOT REPENT than I could NOT BREATHE: as physical life requires breath, so spiritual life requires repentance.)

The OSAS doctrine of being saved by one's own faith alone apart from any works of repentance, teaches it. I see no reason not to believe them, since they also confess they practice it, by declaring how they still sin, and condemn anyone saying they sin not.

No man is being saved and born of God, while sinning with the world and being an enemy of God.

One's own doctrine is not what God judged, bur one's own works, and He is not an unjust judge and respecter of persons.

As a reference to the Parable of the Sower [Matthew 13, Mark 4, Luke 8], does the soil improve itself or does the Farmer improve the soil [Ezekiel 11:19, Ezekiel 36:26]?

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

The problem with making one's own doctrine by their own faith alone, is they either don't care what Scripture says, or they don't take God literally when to comes to doing our part in being saved.

Jesus did His own humbling in His own life as a man, and so must we. God doesn't humble Himself for us.

And while accusing the righteous doing righteousness hand in hand with Jesus, of being self-righteous, they are the ones doing all the doctrinal work of saving and justifying themselves by their own faith alone.

A sinner without fear of the Lord, but only fearful of having his sinning exposed as of the devil.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Yes, unsaved sinners DO need to hear and heed the warning, that unless they repent TOWARDS the LORD God the Father, through faith in The Lord Jesus, they remain under the condemnation of God's judgment of eternal death. KJV John 3:18.
As for Born Again Christians, they are in need of edification, admonishing and forgiveness from brothers and sisters in the Lord, through God's Love.

There are two forms of "repentance", and only one form grants us entrance into the KoG, whereas the other form does not grant entrance into the KoG.
1. Metanoia- Repentance from sin. Matthew 3:8
2. Metanoeo- Repentance towards the LORD God the Father. Matthew 3:2.

Do you know/see the difference?

Case in point made.

This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.

Sweet smiling buttery words on tiptoes are for fairy-sprites, not for growing saints.

I.e. Repenting of sinning toward God is important, until saved forever by grace through faith alone. Then it's just more appropriate than not.

All sinning of the devil is toward God, and all repenting is from sinning with the devil, to be forgiven and reconciled toward God.

The magic of OSAS is that what was once sinning in need of repentance for the unsaved, is no longer sinning in need of repentance for the saved: Christians who think their sinning doesn't stink as much to God, as that of other faiths and religions, are the reason the grace and blood and salvation of Jesus Christ is mocked by the world.

Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Real believers don't want to talk nor hear anything negative about sinning
The obsession and talk about sin is done by those who consider themselves a notch above the sinners....if not several notches.
Don't they give themselves 'special' titles and are members of exclusive clubs?

Yes, it's called a preacher of righteousness. That's why the Lord first brought up sinning in the garden among the first real believers on earth.

I mean, all is going well, and everything is fine without any barriers to happy times, and boom, right out of the blue, that superiority God started going on about not sinning with a certain tree.

I really believe that is when the first real believer Adam first shut his ears to God, and was just waiting for someone to tell them it was hateful and spiteful of God to go negative and forbid them something on pains of death.

It's the same with real believers today, who shut their own ears to any hint of condemnation preaching against sinning against God. It stands to reason, since they no more judge and condemn themselves for sinning like the world.

You prove the point wonderfully. All you have done is gotten angry and churlish about being exposed. Thanks.

The only thing is why you keep coming back for more like the moth to the flame? It's because you know your play-play self-congratulatory happy ears Christianity is a joke to any serious and mature adult, whether Christian or not.

Apparently, you not only don't want righteousness against sinning preached in your church, but you don't think it should be preached anywhere at all.

If you or I or any other soul on earth sins with the devil in works of the flesh, then our sinning stinks just as much as any other on earth, and we need confess with godly sorrow to be forgiven and reconciled to God.

What does stink worse than others, is the self-righteous preening hypocrisy of those who say otherwise for themselves. That is why Paul said to keep no company with them, for it is better to converse with normal fornicators and drunkards than with self-justifying lying wonders.

This is why I stopped speaking personally with people like this, and just expose what they are.

They've lost the intelligence God gives a 5th grader to read and comprehend what others are writing.

You took my quote and changed the entire context to fit your lie because you're very carnal, Robert.
You dont even have the courage to state who you are mis-quoting.
Such a deceiver you are, Robert., as proven again and again by your Threads and posts.

Here is the thing... little one.

The reason you sin and confess is because you have no understanding of the Cross of Christ.
You can't even post about it, unless i embarrass you, by pointing out that none of your Threads, or posts, ever mention the Cross of Christ.

Will you come now and mention it on your way back to talking about ""OSAS and sinning" in your next spiritually darkened 40 redundant Threads?

Deceived and deceptive Forum Trolls like you, Robert, make Forums like this one a place that New Christians need to avoid., as cult member people like you, who have no understanding of The Gospel of the Grace of God, only exist on Forums to try to harm the faith of Real Believers.

I am a polite person. I let people out themselves if they like.

The problem is the same. I continue to strip OSAS stuff of all it's fluff, and just leave the dead bare bones for all to see.

They hate it, but they never even try to correct it, and show how I got their foolishness wrong.

If they don't want their dirty laundry aired in public, they ought not to air it in public.
