I woke up this morning and I said to God in my spirit that I still find myself in the fashion of a man. And the word of the Lord came unto me saying "Well, Peterlag... that's the body you are still in."

Question, Peterlag!

After all that's been introduced on the deity of Christ, have you not seen anything that makes you wonder that maybe He could be deity?

There is nothing introduced on the deity of Christ that holds any water. Nothing. I am so good that I can handle any verse that you can come up with. You just don't believe me.

I agree. But we cannot say that everything we don't understand is because it's a mystery from God. Cause He's not hiding stuff from us. He wants us to know.
Doesn't mean you can always wrap your mind around it. Consider the trinity for example. As certain as the Bible is that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are each God, and there is One God, that's something that God has shown us, but by far the most common objection I hear, "But THREE cannot be ONE!"

It just doesn't make sense to our limited intellects! No offense!

Much love!

Oh . . . and . . . do not write what the 7 thunders spoke . . . not all is revealed.

And what about you? What do you have to say for yourself?

Christianity Board Statement of Faith

We believe that God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the universe. We attest that God has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1, 26-27, Genesis 3:22, Deuteronomy 6:4, Psalm 90:2, John 1:1, John 10:30, Romans 3:30, II Corinthians 13:14, I Peter 1:2)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a completely sinless human life and offered himself freely on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all, according to God’s plan revealed from the beginning. After three days, Jesus arose from the dead to demonstrate his power over death. He ascended to heaven to await his future return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 9:6-7, Matthew 1:22-25, John 1:1-5, John 14:10-30, Acts 1:9-11, Romans 1:3-4, I Corinthians 15:3-4, I Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:3, Hebrews 4:14-15)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and Son (Jesus). He is present in this world as an intercessor to make men and women aware of their need for Jesus the Christ. The Holy Spirit resides in every believer from the moment of salvation. He empowers the Christian with strength for living, understanding the truth, witnessing to others, and in doing what is right. (John 14:16-17, John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 2:12, I Corinthians 3:16, II Corinthians 3:17, Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 5:18-21)

Why are you here? Does this show integrity? Honesty? Honor? You agreed with all this to join the forum. Did you not mean it?

Much love!

Oh . . . and . . . do not write what the 7 thunders spoke . . . not all is revealed.

Something that is openly admitted by theologians that is not known by many Christians is that the doctrine of the Trinity is not stated in the Bible, but is actually “built” by piecing together statements that are said to support it. Since most Christians believe the Trinity is a mystery and not to be understood is a huge reason why doctrinal discussions about it are often avoided or brushed aside and ignored. Worse, the teaching that the Trinity is a “mystery” has been used as a club to beat down doubters and dissenters, and those people are often branded as “heretics” and their role in Christianity minimized.

The word “Trinity” is not in the Bible, and that is supporting evidence that the doctrine is unbiblical, which may be why Trinitarians differ, sometimes greatly in their definitions of the Trinity. The Eastern Orthodox Church differs from the Western Church on the relation of the Holy Spirit to the Father and the Son. Trinitarians who hold to the “classic” definition of the Trinity say Jesus was 100% God and 100% man while on the earth believe differently from Kenotic Trinitarians who believe Jesus set aside his godhood while he was a man on the earth. Oneness Pentecostals say the classic formula of the Trinity is completely wrong, and yet all these claim that Christ is God and that the Bible supports their position.

A study of the history of the Christian Church shows a definite development in the doctrine of the Trinity over the centuries. For example, the early form of the Apostles Creed (believed to date back to shortly after the time of the apostles themselves) does not mention the Trinity or the dual nature of Christ. The Nicene Creed that was written in 325 AD and modified later added the material about Jesus Christ being “eternally begotten” and the "true God” and about the Holy Spirit being “Lord.” But it was the Athanasian Creed that was most likely composed in the latter part of the 4th century or possibly even as early as the 5th century that was the first creed to explicitly state the doctrine of the Trinity.

When can we book you to preach a revival at our Church?

That's some good stuff right there!

I appreciate that, Charlie24.
God bless.

Isn't it good to hear..... when Jesus gets all the credit for what He had done for us on the Cross?
The Holy Spirit in us, causes us to "quicken" when Jesus is lifted up...= When Christ on The Cross is given praise.
The Holy Spirit is here for the cause of Christ...... He lifts up Jesus.
Ive noticed that when you lift up Jesus on the Cross, when you PREACH the Cross, (Paul's Gospel) and keep this always as the center core of your teaching and preaching and ministry...= God moves others when they hear it, no matter if they are lost, backslidden, have dead faith, are born again yet deceived, or if they are just resting in God's Grace, full of the Spirit.
When you make the message of the Cross a Bright LIGHT, it will cause everyone to stand up and be counted, no matter the person.

And Reader.... that Bible. Its not just a book. It is a Light for Life. It is the sword of the Spirit. It will make changes and cause devil's to howl.
Do you recall when Satan came to Jesus and tried to manipulate the Lord?
They Lord spoke the word of God to that devil.

Everyone who ever finds this post, has a Gift from God and maybe more then one.. But, its in the egg. Its in the cocoon.
God will make your gift shine, if you will give it to Him.
So, if you are going to become more than the egg or the cocoon, you have to make yourself available.

The 2 best qualities you can produce for God are not Tongues and Church Going.
Not at all.
The 2 best are : availability and dependability.
Are you that reader?
Listen,
God does not lead parked cars. He leads only those in motion.

A very wise women was talking to me once and said....>"in this world you have the Doer's and you have the Watchers".
So, when you want God to do more with you, then you have to be the Doer.....You have to find a place to grow in the Lord and produce... and if you will put yourself there in real life.....any small step......God will show you the next step.

Reader, have you ever taught a Sunday School Class?
Scared?
Do it scared, as that is "ministry". That is on the job training.
""""But what if i fail? """"
The only failing is not trying.
You wont fail, you will only learn what you need to know that you can't learn unless you try it once or twice.
See, experience is the college of Life, and being willing is why God will use you.
What to teach? Well, first make sure you understand "The Gift of Salvation", and "The Gift of Righteousness", having LEARNED : Romans 3:21-26
If so...
Here are some SS topics for you to teach.

1.) Teach the beauty of Holiness.
2.) Teach How God's Salvation who is Christ on the Cross, that is 2000 years ago completed, is still saving and forgiving, 2000 yrs later. As that is pretty fascinating.
3.) Find the Hymn....."Nothing but the Blood" and let that become your faith, and teach that...
4.) Teach why "dead faith" is not Dead Salvation.
5.) Teach what it means to become "one with God".
6.) Teach why Peter said that Paul's letters that he had in his hand were equal to the TORAH.... That Paul's letters were SCRIPTURE long long before they were found in a New Testament.
7.) Teach how God will never let you go, and why His great love is never based on you and your self effort.
8.) Teach that God first loved you, before you even thought about Him at all.
9.) Teach why God's Gift of Salvation is Jesus on the Cross and not your Performance.
Most of all, show them Jesus on the Cross a lot. A whole lot , if you teach a lot of SundaySchool, or if you preach from a Pulpit.
10.) Pick any subject you like when you preach/teach a message, but alway bring the sermon or teaching right back to Christ on the Cross before you finish ... always.

Paul said of Himself that he was sort of a disappointment to see in person, nothing special.... but notice that he wrote most of the New Testament Epistles and Church Doctrine....
Paul literally saw more of the Spiritual and did mort actual ministry, then anyone.
He said..>"God im yours". "Send me"... and God certainly did. Paul even saw Heaven once.....

Saint....Have you ever given yourself to God?
What are you waiting for?
? ??
?
Some of you should go on a Missionary Trip.
All of you need to take your talent and give it to God, right now.
And, All of you need to live in this verse. Hebrews 13:9 And do what it says to do with your Heart......always.

Im an Evangelist who teaches, so, Evangelist's are aggressive, as that is our holy oil.
Pastors, have a different anointing. They are huggers, they are a warm coat on a cold night.
They are a comfort food that keeps you connected to God.
They are that 3am phone call you make from the Emergency Room , and you know they will pick up and help you every time.
An Evangelist, ...is not that type of anointing.....an Evangelist is at war with the Devil. An Evangelist kicks down the walls so that the Light can shine through.
An Evangelist SEES the spiritual fight and brings the battle.
An Evangelist will upset you, make you think, make you turn around, and deepen your walk of faith.
Pastors are the Shepherds, and Evangelists are the bodyguards of the Bride...... and they are sent to bring believers out of the dark, and unbelievers away from the very edge of Hell where they are tottering on the brink.

Here is how you can tell if God's Evangelist anointing is on you.
Do you find that you end up telling everyone about Jesus?
Do you find that you think of people as "going to heaven" or not?
Have you noticed that when the Spirit moves most people, they want to cry and they become soft and gentle and sweet ?
The Evangelist, that is not how we are moved, usually. As Under the anointing, or in the presence of God, We want to throw a chair and jump over a pew and tear down a wall or go lift some barbells. The anointing of the Evangelist, makes you aggressive, combatant, and very direct.
See that? That is a missionary also..... But Its not a Pastor.
God has his spiritual weapons and its the anointing that breaks the yoke, and He produces this through us, according to how He decides it.

And isn't it good to hear..... when Jesus gets all the credit for what He had done for us on the Cross?
The Holy Spirit in us, causes us to "quicken" when Jesus is lifted up...= When Christ on The Cross is given praise.

Ive shared this before... .. but, its worth a repeat....
I was working as a Industrial Draftsman in '1991. And i had just been called to Preach the Cross, and i was always reading the bible.
I always had it with me. So, at this Industrial Plant where i was working at that time, and these were my Seminary Years... I would go into the "canteen" each day... that was a small lunchroom, and there were always about 30-60 men and sometimes women in there. So, i brought my lunch, and in my Cooler, i kept my New Testament w/ Psalms and Proverbs... And i would eat there each day and read the scriptures while everyone else was talking about whatever people talk about.
And i would take take my NT out and as soon as i opened it.....the room changed. It changed. I could feel something change in the room's atmosphere.
The People changed....They were made aware of something that they felt. And i saw this happen day after day for a year.
And it was the word of God, and the Holy Spirit, just being around them. And that is when i learned that the word of God is so powerful as just opening the Bible caused that to happen in that room....
The Bible looks inside people. It measures them, and they know they are being measured.
It was on this Job that God gave me my first student.. His name was Michael. He found me... and I worked with Him, discipled him for about 6 months during breaks and also before and after work.
This was my first on the job training, and God showed me how to get the bible student deeply involved with the Grace of God so that by doing this with the word of God, the Holy Spirit could accelerate their revelation knowledge and in no time Michael was immersed in the word all by himself and could teach God's Grace. "Justification by faith". "The Gift of Righteousness".

See, the anointing/call into the minisry you have, is what you "hatch". IT's what you produce.
Pastors produces new Pastors.
Evangelist's produce new evangelists...and i have a teaching Gift so, God draws people who want to teach to me, on forums and in life.

I didn't know that about you! But it fits, you do some fine preaching on these boards!

I've also noticed that you are trained and disciplined in the ways of the Lord. A quality to be respected by the hearer.

Keep on keeping on, Brother! I very much enjoy reading your posts.

I've been on several visits to our missionaries. The latest was a few months ago in Mexico.

I recommend everyone go when possible, it's the frontline action, the reason for the Church if you ask me!

Question, Peterlag!

After all that's been introduced on the deity of Christ, have you not seen anything that makes you wonder that maybe He could be deity?

Speaking for myself, I have not. Given that the Bible is written by monotheist Jews, who reject the trinity to this day, everything in Scripture has to be interpreted from the over-arching theology of its writers.

So, "all that's been introduced on the deity of Christ" is merely imposing false doctrine onto unitarian text, and thereby, thoroughly refuted. I'll give you a chance to tie it up nicely in a bow. Please list the 3 best arguments that Jesus is God and watch them be utterly destroyed. Take your time and give it some thought.

I think the Trinity folks have based their entire so called Christian doctrine on the Trinity. So what would they have left if that was removed from them? This was on my mind when I started that OP on what does the Trinity produce. I was looking for what it is that they have. Because if Jesus is not God. Then they do not know who the Christ is. Where am I wrong?

Not wrong but incomplete.

They don't know who the Christ is or his God, their God, our God. Arguably worse, the don't know our God's 1C and who benefits from violating it.

Who would hatch such a scheme to deprive the one true God of all glory, dividing it not just once but twice more?

Speaking for myself, I have not. Given that the Bible is written by monotheist Jews, who reject the trinity to this day, everything in Scripture has to be interpreted from the over-arching theology of its writers.

So, "all that's been introduced on the deity of Christ" is merely imposing false doctrine onto unitarian text, and thereby, thoroughly refuted. I'll give you a chance to tie it up nicely in a bow. Please list the 3 best arguments that Jesus is God and watch them be utterly destroyed. Take your time and give it some thought.

You can only destroy it for yourself, Wrangler.

I don't know who you have a relationship with, I don't know who you think that person is, who gave His life for you that day at Calvary.

But I know, and I know from Scripture He is God, I have shown you who He is.

That you choose not to believe that, it's your loss in relationship with the One who created you and gave Himself for you.

But let's make it clear that this does not separate you from the salvation that Christ gave to us through faith in His Cross.

The Father demands faith in what Christ did, not that you must understand exactly who He is!

I have no doubt there are many in heaven right now who had faith in Christ, who believed in Him, but did not understand exactly who He is. I don't think any of us really understand that relationship as we will understand it when we meet Him.

I did not think you'd have the intellectual courage to meet the challenge. Maybe I'll start another thread on this topic.

LOLOL! Like you haven't started enough of these threads? I think we are wore out on the subject.

If you can't believe it, you just can't believe it. Christ will take care of it, we will all one day know exactly the truth of it all.

Why don't you just let it go for a while? Let's discuss some other things.

I'm posting a new thread this morning, let me know what you think.

I want you to know, Wrangler, we don't have a problem! There is no reason for a divide between us.

Trust me when I tell you I can write more concerning our conversation, but I don't want to send anyone into shock. I would like to know more about what you mentioned about they might not have any fruit of the spirit. You said a preacher mentioned it. If I could learn a lot more about that it will tell me if they can only walk by their flesh. And that would explain all the rules and regulations they live by. The next question is do they even have spirit if they don't know who the Christ is?

You mentioned how the Evangelist acts. And you never said which one. Or are you the only one?

Im the evangelist, and i mentioned the effect of the anointing of God, that is the call of the Evangelist, is "aggression, combative, seeing in the spirit the evil" etc.
This is a different anointing the that of a "Pastor" who is a shepherd of the sheep.
And evangelist is literally sent to set fire to the dead wood in a local assembly and call all the unbelievers to the Cross.

You've heard the phrase....>"Comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable"?
That is what an evangelist will do.
And Evangelist is going to be obsessed with the Cross of Christ and the Grace of God, and all things that pertain to the Blood Atonement, as God puts that in them as their message.
When you Evangelize you are lifting up the Cross and speaking about the blood atonement. You are teaching the redemption. You are sharing Christ's sacrifice. You are preaching with FORCE the Salvation that is only found as God's Cross of Christ.
