This is true . Yet dont you find it rather odd that most of the immigrants fleeing their country

I've volunteered at a evangelistic crisis pregnancy center for a year. We had immigrants from all over the world coming in for our services. Many were open to hearing the gospel and gave gifts to the volunteers return. Many have received Jesus. They weren't all these drug pushing lazy fiends at all.
I respect that we have laws for immigration. Countries have a right to secure borders. But I don't agree with casting all immigrants as these hopeless lazy scum or saying anyone who wants to help them are "liberal wusses" or anything like that.

Actually there are a few biblical examples where they didn't repent but went to heaven anyways or were forgiven. One prime example is the thief on the cross. Another example is the woman that was a bad sinner that washed Jesus feet with her tears. And yet another example is the parable of the Tax Collector and Pharisee. The tax collector knew he was a sinner and asked for mercy and he went away justified. You sound like you follow a works based salvation. But that is not entirely biblical. And while it is wise not to sin, we should not be judgmental of others that do. That can ruin our salvation. And that is what Jesus teaches in the bible.

If a person wants to immigrate, the only help you can give him or her is to tell them to apply for entry and joining the line of others already waiting in line to legally immigrate. Anything else is helping no one since they learn that breaking the law has no consequences.
The bigger help would be to tell the governments of those countries from where they are coming to get their act together. Which could mean taking military action against countries which do nothing about their drug cartels or hordes of illegals (with a huge percentage of criminals in the mix).
Mexico has had a history of conflict with the USA for over 200 years. Yet none of the border states, and no one in the federal government, got serious about building a serious solid wall 200 years ago, or even 100 years ago, or even 50 years ago. And then Trump goes and builds a fence!
As a result the Mexican drug cartels now control the US border. Think about it. And the fentanyl (and other hard drugs) that are killing thousands are coming right through on a daily basis, because no one has the guts to simply shut down the border and build that wall.
Governor Abbott of Texas should have been deporting all those illegals on a daily basis back to their home countries. Instead he wanted theater by shipping a few northwards and dumping some on Kamala's property, but they will still be a burden on the USA. Biden wanted to sue the governor of Arizona for putting up barriers along the border. Why did that governor not counter-sue Biden for gross violation of the laws of the land? And why isn't Biden being impeached just for this one crime of over 5 million migrant invaders?
Not all laws are Godly. We live in Rome, with the Romans. And they killed Jesus. The USA is no different. Look how they are pushing homosexuality on us and all their Roman ways.
