Listen hear me out Siblings. There are many false prophets on this earth, and the pope is the biggest one. He has so many people fooled. They bow down to the pope and they "Honor" him, but they really are worshipping him and they dont know it. I once had a dream about the pope. He was coming out of his little window with a sniper rifle, Snatching away Christians with his sniper rifle. Please listen to me. The pope is a false prophet, and he is leading people to think he is important. He is not supossed to have people bow down to him . Jesus Christ is the only one !!!

You know I'm right.

You have no idea as the Pope does not put him self above Jesus Christ at all far from it.
Did Jesus Christ say to bow down to him no not even to Jesus him self as he said to get up.

Aren't people required to make false prophecies before they can be labeled a false prophet? The Pope does not make prophecies.

-- The Catholic church teaches that the Pope is God's primary representative for all Christians here on earth.
If he took the job knowing that and agrees it is fact....

My poppa met one of the popes during WW11. He wasn't very impressed. In fact that meeting was detrimental to his salvation many years later. He just could not understand why the Jewish community were being hunted down and persecuted while the then pope [whom he believed, represented God's people] remained safe and secure throughout that war.

You can look into it all on Catholic forums they go into to the whole thing about it all.
The thing is that Hitler had massive support all over the world before WW2 and it was a complex thing dealing with it all and the problem is in the dealing with Hitler as it could of gone very wrong for Christians to.
Socialism is a very deadly thing as it is blinded by madness that is so sure they are right..
I to thought the Pope was wrong to due to my self being a uneducated simpleton knowing only what was taught at school and the TV but when looking into it all i found out that he was very wise indeed.
Only 60 year's on we are now so ingulfed in socilism and the RCC is always attacked full on with so much slander and even people calling them selfs Christians are happy to run around slandering full on and this is much to do due to blind hatred ect.

Was he wise? A man of God would surely stand up for the atrocities going on around him during that dark period in history. Even if it cost him his life...but God knows our hearts and each man is accountable to God for himself.

Just to clarify...my poppa was not a believer then. He associated the pope as being a representative of God and just related what he observed as a soldier. He met him in the Vatican during WW11 and could not believe that this man representing God, could live in such opulence, splendor and wealth, while just down the road [meaning: not far from there]...the Jewish community including women and children were suffering, starvation, poverty, brutal persecution and death.

Shalom

There is not much the Pope or anyone can do today about things going on now as it has to do with the people having to come to Christ and they will never get it right until then.
The Pope is not the Government and he does not rule the people. his position is to help guide the RC people in the light of Christ and then it's up to them from there.
I suppose people like to think the Pope could just say push off all you lot and do as i say.

Protestants also have their 'popes' , take Ted Haggard for an example, amongst many, he had his congregation fooled, until his gay masseur exposed him, he would never have admitted it, while his whole congregation claimed him as being 'saved'.

I don't know this Pope personally...In fact I've never know a Pope personally. But as Foreigner said, these men, in taking that office, are putting their support behind doctrines that are unbiblical. End of topic, as far as I go.
And as far as the Pope and what he's supposed to be doing in guiding the RC people...is he doing that? In fact, the more we hear of the RC Church itself...the men who are 'in charge', I would suggest that the Pope can't even keep house, let alone guide his people.
One of the huge points of Christ's sacrifice was to remove any kind of intermediary between God and his people. The Pope is trying to wiggle back in there. Teach and guide...sure. Have no problem with that. Tell the masses that he and God have a special connection and that the church needs to listen to him...that, I have a problem with. And it's not due to ignorant anger on my part...it's due to a sound understanding of what is biblical and what is not.

Has anyone looked into the RCC point of view on the Bible.
The Bible, the sole rule of faith ? look that up at cathtruth.com
I would not like people to have there head in the sand on what the RCC is on about with there position on the Bible.
I get a bit sick of wind bags just pushing simpleton positions on what the RCC is on about.

It's interesting that you just make the assumption that we do have our heads in the sand. You know what they say about people who make assumptions.
I also wonder...and also get a good chuckle...out of your obvious conclusion in regards to some of the more brilliant theological minds in history...who make me seem to have a somewhat mild and warm fuzzy view on the RCC.

This passage talks about Jesus, so I hope you're not using it to support the position of a Pope. Not sure, as you've put no context with the verse!
