What i would say to one i say to all . Beware the all inclusive progressive woke social gospel of men .
IT IS NO GOSPEL . Rather learn the true biblical gospel and thus BELIEVE YE ON HE , CHRIST JESUS , whom GOD DID SEND .
learn all biblical doctrine well . For many bring another gospel , another jesus , another spirit
and none of it will save a soul . And many bear with it . expose it . Preach CHRIST JESUS and all sound docrtrine
by which the lambs shall grow wise .

It’s on point. If you don’t understand the seeds and the soil and how one is ‘planted’ in the other, and the dual nature and relationship between the spiritual and the natural, you simply don’t understand this key that @Episkopos is pointing toward, himself unaware.

But unlike epi…. I don’t care if you agree or not. It doesn’t offend me if you don’t.

There is no forum requirement for agreement. Neither are there little manufactured safe spaces to shelter false teachers from criticism. This forum (and this thread) would be a better place if you also exercised your own advice. I don’t make or take things in a personal way. His teaching is poor. He might be a nice guy, but one doesn’t preclude the other.

Did paul then say and preach the social gospel , which saves none .
OR did he say THIS and this alone . BELEIVE YE ON CHRIST JESUS and Ye shall be SAVED . exactly .

oh just do some good works and just come together with all religoins and do some good . THAT AINT GONNA SAVE
its gonna CONDEMN . All other religions DENY JESUS as THE CHRIST .

The key to understanding the parables is laid out in the 4 different kinds of soil.

Those who get nothing out of the parables do so because they don't understand the importance of parables in general...the the parable of the Sower specifically.

Matt. 13:19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Without understanding God and His ways...there is no room in the heart for instruction in the kingdom of God.

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it; which also bears fruit, and brings forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

The gap between bearing eternal fruit or not is based on understanding the words of Jesus. This is about bearing an eternal kind of fruit.

Now it is given to spiritual people to understand the kingdom...but an understanding can also be gleaned by those whose faith is patient enough to receive instruction. As such we find that both prophets AND the righteous can benefit from the words of Jesus in the parables.

Jesus makes a distinction between the saints and the righteous. Notice what He says here..

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

To the casual reader there is no distinction in this...although Jesus uses these categories more than once. (Think...Receive a prophet in the name of a prophet; receive a righteous man in the name of a righteous man...etc )

How much do we appreciate receiving instruction from the Master of life Himself? How many will humble themselves to learn of Him?

There is no key to parables. It is God's language and no one understands it but God.

I have spoken to a few who have been disgusted by all the immature religiosity here, and have left the forum altogether. These ask me how do I continue to put up with all the slander, the false accusations, the personal attacks....etc...

Well, we are to do all as to the Lord, and if I was as religiously bent as some here are, I would want someone here to remind me over and over again of what I'm doing. We are our brother's keeper. The truth will penetrate some given time. I always marvel when ANYONE understands the truth. ;)

So many of us have no idea of how indoctrinated we can become...and how carnal our understanding can be. And how petty our excuses can get.

But a few will question why they are behaving so badly in order to "back up" their theories they are convinced comes from God and not from the traditions of men.

I, for one, hope you hang in there. You are a sweet soul...and would be missed. :)

I agree with this in principle. Where do we get the idea of a conscious torment? From a parable that describes the difference between a good ending for the poor and a bad ending for the rich. (Lazarus and the rich man). Does that mean there is such a thing as eternal torment in the lake of fire? No. What this describes is being in the hot wilderness in outer darkness...for God's people. And that won't happen till after the judgment. But the process is "sped up" to get the point across now.

Parables are used to compare things according to their respective values.

But there is truth...eternal truth...in the parables.

Parables also wake us up to look for actual doctrines in the rest of the bible. Does the bible describe 4 eternal destinies? Yes...over and over again.

Only indoctrinated people have trouble counting to 4! ;)

who comes preaching against mud . He hollers all the day , WE MUST HATE MUD
we must not follow MUD as he continually throws mud unto the people .

For he points us back to SELF and omits the dire need to beleive on CHRIST and calls that EGO and RELIGOUS .

What? Read your Bible! Jesus taught in parables so that some wouldn't understand, only those who God enabled. He later explained the parables to His disciples and, via the Bible, to us.

Jesus is God, and he can explain parables. But the point is only God knows what the parable means. He would have to explain it for someone to understand it. There is no "key" to understanding them.
