Isn't it great they now started to build a large wildlife crossing over one of the large freeways. This after a few mountain lions were hit by cars while trying to cross.

Cool, mountain lions are pretty tough, wouldn't want to hit one with a car for sure.

Trust me, hitting any animal at 65 MPH can mess up a Mazda hatchback pretty bad. I think the deer was totaled, though.

When Florida built Alligator Alley in the 80’s, they built several pass under wildlife crosses. National Geographic set up motion cameras to catch the crossers. Panthers, alligators everything imaginable. About 300-400 feet before the crossing, the fences are eight feet tall.
