The question I asked was, What was your MOS and what unit were you assigned to while in the Middle East? It’s a common question and something military and ex-military people ask each other all the time. I often ask someone this when I find out they're a veteran or currently serving, that's if they don't ask me first.

It's also a question you can ask that one guy at the bar who claims to have been in special forces and how he single-handedly saved his platoon from being wiped out by insurgents. If they answer with something along the lines of "I’m not allowed to say for national security reasons" or "it's classified," you immediately know they're full of it.

Your MOS isn't some kind of secret code, and even former members of special forces that were once operating at the highest classification levels can, and usually will, tell you their MOS if asked. As ex-military, revealing your MOS and where you were assigned several years ago isn't a threat to you or to a unit's security.

You saying that such a common question is word-for-word what a terrorist would ask and then suggesting that I may be a terrorist for asking it is laughable. As I said, this entire post is absurd and reveals that you have no idea what you're talking about

Sister no man is above being corrected . You need to say what is troubling you . women can offer up advice and counsel to men .

Unfortunately, I don't think it's enough for Christians to simply be right and correct others.

I think we need to love our enemies, even if they are indeed enemies of the truth. I am very conservative politically, but those on the left are still important to the Lord.

The way you correct someone can reveal a lot. If you insult the person you correct, why pretend that that's love?

It's very true that Jesus is the narrow path. The gospel doesn't need to be compromised. But Jesus was both uncompromising in His truth and full of compassion for souls.

In this thread I see a lack of truth from some and a lack of compassion from others and at times, a lack of both.

I pray that the Holy Spirit brings a sense of balance to us. I don't think it's easy to get this right. It's so easy for egos to get in the way.
