We see that the Lake of Fire is like the fiery furance which is used for refinement. Notice how in Isaiah, the "refined" end state has been reached. If a person is stuck in the Lake of Fire forever, then God never reaches that refined end state, which contradicts scripture. Therefore, Christian Universalism must be true.
