God throws death and Hades into the lake of fire to destroy them forever, just like all things that go in.
A single teaching proves it is symbolism--The place where the worm dieth not-Mark 9:48)--show us a worm that can survive more than 1 single hour in a hot firey place let alone dieth not. You know where they don't die? 6 feet under=Hades=Sheol=the grave. Deut 30:19--God set before all-LIFE or DEATH both will be everlasting.
And if you were a careful reader of SCripture, you would see that death and the grave are thrown in and destroyed before God throws people into the lake of fire!

So a worm never dies. Are you saying God can't do something that you cannot imagine? That is a puny god.

I mentioned Philip when I said... From the habit of tradition, and only for a short period of time, a small handful of people were baptized with water into the New Testament, but never again afterwards. Water does nothing to anybody that has any common sense other then get you wet.
So show the Scripture that says the church baptized with water for only a short time, When did that short time end? How do you know? Who declared when that time ended? where does it say it?

Also, Paul mentions being baptized by/in the Spirit. so, what is being baptized in the name of the Father, son and Holy Spirit mean? God makes no mistake so this triune name baptism is different than the mono name baptism of the spirit.

Also why do you deny the trinity?

Cool. If you say so. I’m not so sure you even know position that well? Thank you for commenting, teamventure.

Im gonna do my best to not argue, amd go by the spirit; i don’t expect everyone to understand that would be foolish on my part, deadly foolish with 8 billion in the world they say. That’s alot of people.
There's a site on the net as I recall wherein its producer tallies the number of people who go to Hell every day.

Some find great satisfaction in that ideology.Obviously.
They think Hell avoidance is why Jesus came to earth.

Never a dull moment in Apologetics. ;)

Thats right @Jack that pertains to the devil, the false prophet and the beast. Not humans.

There are also these scriptures,

About humans who only have a part

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭8‬, ‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And you also have this,

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What you make of these things is between you and God.
If those outside cannot access the Tree of Life, they will die.
The second death is a death, not a perpetual dying.

Well we shall know for certain when eternity rolls around.

I hope you don't relax in sharing the gospel of salvation with the lost in the hope that they may be saved if they have to go to the lake of fire.
Every man has to be convinced in his own mind, Ronald.

Cassandra, for me Jesus has overcame all death, perhaps he can still save them from perishing even in the afterlife?

The only way to do that is the tree of life. that is why it is in heaven and being used by the nations, and that is why is was removed from the earth.

Also, how can there be a second death if there is no death? Why would the Bible say that? Jesus died for us so we would not have to die a second time. That is for believers. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
So this shows that whosover do not believe will die

I mentioned Philip when I said... From the habit of tradition, and only for a short period of time, a small handful of people were baptized with water into the New Testament, but never again afterwards. Water does nothing to anybody that has any common sense other then get you wet.
WOW...suggest you study scripture....here this will help to start with;

Baptism is Required

Peter 3: 21.... whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...

John 3:5 .......Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2;38-....Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22;16... And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Galations 3:26...... For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

KJV Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

KJV Matthew 3:14... But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15. Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfil all rightesousness. Then He suffered Him.

KJV Matthew 28:19..... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:.

Acts 10;47-48...
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 8:12-18: But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

Acts 19:4 And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”

John 3; 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Quote from Billy Graham that is note worthy;
....Also, to clarify I did not say remission of sin takes place at repentance. Scripture makes it clear that it occurs upon obedience to water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Each is a step of faith, along with receiving the Holy Ghost, in the process of one's spiritual rebirth

.."Paul explains the doctrinal significance of what occurs when one is baptized. His explanation is found in his letter to those who had already been obedient to the command.

Paul tells the Roman Christians what actually occurred when they were/are baptized; they were baptized into His death. Being buried with Jesus into His death resulted in their sin being destroyed.

Even though Paul explains this concept, the NEW AGE RELIGION TEACHING is......... that water baptism is nothing other than a mere public display.......... And that is so far removed from the truth.

Keep in mind that Satan knows if he can continue to perpetuate that lie ...... he can keep people from entering the kingdom of God. Thus He has proven scripture which says ...in the end times there will be ...great delusions.....they are here.

Conclusion....teaching that baptism is not necessary is violation of Rev. 22;19.... And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Also two other books of the Bible).
That's not actually true.

As soon as an individual is accountable for offending God,sinning, they are destined for Hell unless or until they are Saved from Hell by accepting Jesus, who is God, as their savior from sin,Hell.

Some believe babies will go to Hell dying in infancy. Meaning we are born destined for Hell unless we are saved from it by God who determined that fate in our beginning.

Even if you don't hear about God,Jesus,Salvation, you are sent to Hell at the judgement. God is that judge.

You have to give God his due. He is God.We are the victims to his will.
You jump to far....an individual can avoid sending himself to hell by following God's commandments. That is not God sending him to hell.

Then show me from scriptures where the Bible says...God sends people to hell...?

Find them for yourself.

Seek and ye shall find.
P.S. This may help your search.
God is all knowing.
God created Hell to receive Satan and his fallen angels. Later God determined Hell would also receive humans who are in God's image and likeness.

All knowing God told us he predestines all things by his will, according to his plan, and glory.

God tells us in the Old Testament that before he created the world, he wrote in his Lambs Book of Life the names of those whom he would Save. Which means missing names are predestined to Hell. And the Saved are predestined to Salvation in Heaven.

My dear, God has already judged. Before the foundation of this world.

People do not choose to go to Hell. God chose who would go. Before Eden. Before Adam,Eve, and that tree.

Are bodies are made out of mostly water. That's what Jesus meant when he said born of water. It means being born the first time.

No water mentioned in Acts 2:38

No water mentioned in Acts 10:48

No water mentioned in Acts 22:16

No water mentioned in Galatians 3:27

What...?.....redemption from sin...is different than ....paying for sin.
Yes, sin can not be in the Kingdom of the Heavenly Jerusalem, that is where God lives, and also he lives in believers by his spirit.

He went and preached something to them while down in this hades, hell, sheol. He overcame it.
My mind goes to all of the Bible verses that say the dead are dead.
The thief did not die that day that Jesus died, so he couldn't be with Jesus in Paradise.

What about Lazarus? Dead for days, and his sister said to Jesus "I know you will raise him up on the last day." Why if he were already alive in Heaven ? and why didn't he scream about having to come back here?
*********************************************************************************************************************************************
Lets talk about the parable:

Rich man and Lazarus

PUNISHMENT GULF BOSOM OF ABRAHAM

God forbade communication from dead to the living, so why does the rich man ask Lazarus to go to his 5 living brothers?

The rich man represents the Jewish nation in particular the Pharisees.
The 5 brothers Scribes, Sadducees, Herodians, Zealots, Essenes
Luke 16:27-30
27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’
29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent."

Luke 16:31
31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’

shortly after this Lazarus was resurrected by Jesus.

Still they did not repent

All I know is it is a parable. Idk know if people are able to turn towards Yahava or not and go through the lake of fire possibly, and be purged from the darkness that resides in them even in the heavenly realm.

What about your mind that goes to relate to them all as being dead? What do you mean the thief couldn't be in Paradise with Jesus?

Sheol, or Hell, as it is known as was a holding place for faithless and faithful souls, there was a prison part to it as well. which kept them away from God, because sin still had not been paid for.
