When Lord Jesus commanded His servants to learn a parable of the fig tree, He was giving that ABOUT the final generation on earth that will 'see' His future return...
Matt 24:32-36
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
KJV
The key to know Jesus was pointing to the final generation at the day of His future return is by His phrase "all these things". What "things" was He giving us in that Matthew 24 Chapter? Easy, the SIGNS of the end leading up to His future return.
Now all this requires is just a little bit of thinking, because in verse 33 Jesus said "when ye shall SEE ALL these things", that means ALL of those SIGNS He gave happen concurrent to each other, meaning within the same generation that will see them. And what was the very last SIGN He gave? the SIGN of His future return. And we know per Scripture He will return on the 'last day' of this present world. So that has to... mean, the very last generation on earth that will literally SEE Christ's coming return.
So don't allow any man to deceive you into thinking Jesus meant some generation other than the very last one that will 'see' His return.
