I had all of the Moderna shots. No problems.
I just wondered about this latest booster since after they said on TV commercial to get the booster, then they told about rare incidents of something with the heart.
@dev553344 posted an article that this latest booster wasn't tested by the FDA.
They eventually got approval apparently, which was recently. So the thing that concerns me is that they were selling it without approval for a while.
I thought the article said it's the latest vaccine that hasn't been approved by the FDA. Did I read it wrong?
It has been approved for emergency use, which is kind of a trick, maybe @JohnDB could explain more what that means. This article from the FDA on 9-11-2023 says what they did:
FDA Takes Action on Updated mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines to Better Protect Against Currently Circulating Variants
From the article:
"Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration took action approving and authorizing for emergency use updated COVID-19 vaccines formulated to more closely target currently circulating variants and to provide better protection against serious consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death. Today’s actions relate to updated mRNA vaccines for 2023-2024 manufactured by ModernaTX Inc. and Pfizer Inc. Consistent with the totality of the evidence and input from the FDA’s expert advisors, these vaccines have been updated to include a monovalent (single) component that corresponds to the Omicron variant XBB.1.5."

I'm 73. But I guess since I don't come into contact with many people I'll be ok without the newest booster.

Aside from the nasty shot , i never said medicine was not used .
They put a plaister on Hezzekiah .
That plaister , however , didnt come off the backs of an aborted fetal cell .
Thus touch not that unclean thing . And before anyone tries to say , CONSPIRACY , CONSPIRACY
that be no true . HECK even THE Deadly pope francis ADMITTED IT was TRUE but then MADE EXCUSE
for why its okay to take the nasty thing . THIS werent no conspiracy , IT REALLY DID come off the back of an aborted fetal cells .
That alone , no matter if it cured cancer , would have this lamb NOT TO TOUCH that wicked thing . I mean THAT ALONE
was all the reason i needed or ever would have needed to not touch that unclean thing .
But even the fact it has not stopped anyone from getting covid , let alone the longer
these days continue i bet the more we gonnna see some auto immune issues increasing , damaged heart valves
and who knows what else . But as i wrote afore , That nasty thing came from when it came . And that alone
should have all who name the name of CHRIST to touch not that unclean thing .

how can you claim knowledge of something, then totally miss the point
I take a flue shot. Not to keep from getting the flue. If I am exposed. i will get it..
The shot is to help my body FIGHT the virus which is in me, and if it is the correct strain of flue, I will not get as sick.
I took to covid shot. I got covid twice (that I know of) and most likely many times more. My body however was able to fight it.
It does not mean I will nto get it
And it certainly does not mean I can not pass it to someone else (I become a carrier)
Smallpox is a great example. Smallpox was considered dead. But then people stopped taking the vaccine. Guess what Happened? Small pox is on the rise.
The vaccine does not keep us from getting something, IT HELPS US FIGHT IT WHEN WE DO GET IT
You say we need to stop buying into the governments arguments, Then you use that argument.
As for things unclean.. I think you should read pauls comments on eating meat offered to Idols..

Oh i got covid too . It was GOD who took care of me . Rather odd i must admit , however , is the
doctors and their wives and some others in the medical field , whose cars i do work on
had a rather different story to tell than what MSNBC and mainstream seeemth to say .
One lady said this shot is totally useless , that she got the covid and got it real bad . PS she is younger than both you and I .
the wife of another doctor whose car i also work on Got so sick she had to be treated . SHE took the vaccine too .
And she was and is a health nut to the core . far younger than you and i .
I got the same virus they did , and though it was a bit rough , i did better than most of them did . WHO WERE VACCINATED .
OOPS . that shot is use and less at best . Not to mention , DID i mention from WHENCE it came ......
anything that came off the blood of a fetus, THIS LAMB WONT TOUCH and i suggest YOU dont any longer .
Lets not make excuse for why its okay . I mean lets face it , many churches TODAY make many excuses as to why things

And there's always the horror stories and legal actions taken against Christians that reject modern medicine and falsely expect God to heal them of whatever comes. Their children suffer terrible tragedies.
I posted this in other threads. It's a short story about not taking the doctors help and expecting God to do everything that man can do for himself:
There was a man in a flood, he made it up to the roof of his house. A boat came by and asked if he needed any help. He replied "No God will save me". So the boat moved on. Two more boats came by and both times the man rejected their help. He drown and died and when he got to heaven he asked God "Why didn't you save me"? God replied: "I sent 3 boats".

Well most people dont even bother to investigate , heck i mean a lot of christains dont even bother to test their own leaders doctrine
against biblical scripture . We live in the day and age where just give us a ten minute love session with GOD
and let us do as we do the rest of the time . Everyone always in a hurry always desiring what is easiest for them and best
fits their own lifestyles and pleasures . But i must warn us all , THIS is a big mistake indeed .
We should have LOVED GOD , CHRIST above all , and church that do INCLUDE SELF . truth is we should be DEAD to self
but anyway it dont suprise me one bit that many bought into this , they have long trusted in men
and he or she whose trust or hope is in men , CURSED indeed .
CURSED is the one whose hope is in man . BLESSED IS HE whose HOPE IS IN THE LORD . and it cannot be IN BOTH .
CHOOSE YE THIS DAY CHURCHES of MEN , CHOOSE YE THIS DAY WHOM YE GONNA SERVE , TRUST , HONOR
