Not imo, it’s saying no such thing...so I agree to disagree...and I’m certainly not arguing it out with you!
I am certainly pleased that you are not going to do that.
A Born Again is a “ child of God”.
And it is pretty obvious from just about everything you have written here concerning being born again that you are monumentally confused about it.

How does being Born Again do away with the sin nature?

I’m not disagreeing...I’m asking you how that can happen?

The old man is the old sin nature, is it not?

Were in the new man are we not. .? @JBO
Does the new man not sin at all any more?

No confusion here over being Born of God...the Holy Spirit testifies with my spirit all day every day , that I am his child.

Supernatural testifying by the Spirit of God.

Unfortunately, you don’t understand what that means....so, if you aren’t understanding that.....I guess it’s you who is the confused one...you don’t even know that Gods Spirit is Alive?

You denied that his word is Alive and Active?

You think he’s limited to the Bible..oh my, you have much to learn..about the Living word of God.

You would do well to rethink that. What you know about God is only what you can read in the Bible, and the NT was written in Greek.
Rubbish...I know in my heart that I was Born Again, having never read a Bible.....you really need to read your Bible.

Gods word is “ Living “......he speaks to the heart of his children, penetrates their heart?

Which means what exactly?

To be Born of God...one must be baptised in the Spirit...not the head/ mind.

Sin nature is not a sin. It is clear that you do not even understand what sin really is.
Lol. A typical defense mechanism, liberals use this all the time: Attack the person, their knowledge, spirituality, disqualifying them and their contribution.
The Ten Commandments give us an idea of what sin is when we disobey them. Well Adam and Eve had one and they disobeyed it.
The wages of sin is death. The penalty of death was passed down from Adam. Why do you think we die? Because death reigns in our bodies physically. Spiritually we have been cleansed/ saved and will live forever. But when sin came into the world, death came and every cell in every living thing became corrupted, distorted, began to die. Diseases, viruses, bacteria started on that day. You can look at every living thing and see imperfections, mutations and as they age move closer to death.
Aside from physical death, they spiritually died and became disconnected with God with exception during times He verbally communicated with them or later in dreams and visions.
That is the body and spirit. Niwbwhat about the soul, the invisible you, your mind, will, emotiins, personality, talents, etc.? That changed too. Fear came into reality, anger, hate, selfish, evil behavior ... everything that evil produces came into the world, darkness entered the world. Not just their nature was changed, but the animal kingdom was cursed as well.

Yes, indeed, I most likely do have much to learn yet. But you are clearly not the one to teach me.
Indeed I am not....I’m just the messenger...a vessel used by the Living word of God, via his Spirit.

Gods word is a Living word...it’s not “ DEAD”.

I have much to learn also....I just love learning from the Living word of God....there is NOTHING on the planet like his Living word...I can’t get enough of it!!

The phrase "sin nature" does not even appear in the Bible.

And besides, physical death is not due to sin. Physical death is an integral part of the creation. Nothing in the physical creation is either immortal or eternal.

So....Adam and Eve were going to die, ( Physically )before they sinned were they?

God put the tree of life in the Garden to provide a food that would keep them from dying.

Gen 3:22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever--"
Gen 3:23 therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.

God kicked them out of the garden to keep them from having access to the tree of life which would keep them from dying physically. It wasn't the sin that caused them to die physically. It was that they could no longer eat the fruit of the tree of life.

No, it is not. Clearly you are confused. Being born again does do away with the sin nature., whatever you think the sin nature might be. The phrase, "sin nature" does not even appear in the Bible. The term "sinful nature" does appear, but only in the NIV. It translates the Greek word for flesh as "sinful nature". And that comes from the not unusual tendency for the NIV to insert its own peculiar theology into the text.
Those who teach that babies are righteous as Christ are Blasphemers, against Christ. When Jesus was born a baby Himself, its recorded that He came even as a baby, in the likeness of sinful flesh. Rom 8:3

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Now notice, He didnt have sinful flesh, but came in the likeness of sinful flesh. Thats saying that babies enter this world with sinful flesh, a sinful nature, as unclean.

But we have Blasphemers saying babies come born into the world righteous as Christ. These blasphemers exalt sinful flesh !

Sin "nature" just means we have a tendency ( we are prone) towards lust, rebelliousness towards God. We are bent that way until we are straightened out.
Physical death was part of the plan, but the state of perfection, life without death existed oriir to their sin. To know good and evil was necessary.

All babies are born after Adam and are sinners. "As by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" Romans 5:12. God did not predestinate sinners to be saved. Sinners are saved by faith in Christ and his Gospel, Ephesians 1:13.

Right babies are sinners, and if theyre elect, Christ has died for them as He has for all elect sinners, and He has reconciled them to God, and they are saved by His life. No sinner Christ died for shall perish.

Thats only in your false wishy washy man cantered Christ dishonoring religion.

Please give me the Biblical reference that says that sinful flesh is unclean. We were created with sinful flesh. Are you suggesting that God created us as unclean? To you who seem to like to declare others to be blasphemous, I think accusing God of creating us as unclean could well be considered blasphemous.

I know what it means. Still the phrase, sin nature, doesn't show up in the Bible. And we are never, in this world, straightened out. We are forgiven and given the indwelling Holy Spirit to help us cope with that tendency, but it is never taken away.

What is the flesh?

Romans 8:3-4King James Version (KJV) For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Just found this commentary/ scripture...

35 Verses About Uncleanness

Leviticus 5:3

Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness [it be] that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth [of it], then he shall be guilty.

Leviticus 7:20

But the soul that eateth [of] the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that [pertain] unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Leviticus 7:21

Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean [thing, as] the uncleanness of man, or [any] unclean beast, or any abominable unclean [thing], and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which [pertain] unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Leviticus 14:19

And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

Leviticus 15:3

And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it [is] his uncleanness.
