Instead, it is accurate to say that a jury unanimously decided that it was more likely than not true that Trump sexually abused and forcibly touched Carroll, and as such, her defamation claim was valid.

You can say it was likely, but it doesn't make it true.

What's happening now is he is being charged with defamation charges because he said mean things which made other people say mean things.

Facts are often hard to get at, especially these days. In the end maybe only God knows the facts about some things and all we often have are our opinions and educated guesses and personal biases. I'm not willing to take a stand based on my opinions and educated guesses and biases, and I find that things can be safely left to the Lord to judge.

It's really kind of a relief to know that I don't have to parse through all the information and misinformation out there and have a handle on everything....because I know the One one who does have a handle on everything, and the only solid ground I am willing to stand and walk on is HIS word, and you know what?....it is sufficient.....absolutely sufficient, believe it or not. I've realized that this world and the things that go on here are HIS business and I just need to be concerned about HIS will for me right now, right here, this minute. And that's just fine, the sky is not going to fall because little old me doesn't have a handle on and am judging everything. I just don't try to judge any more. "Did he or didn't he?" Not my business...God knows and will do the judging. If He gives me a discernment on anything, fine. If not, that is fine too. Right now I just need to stay behind the Lord and not be caught up in a cult like spirit and fervor like I unfortunately am seeing many succumbing to.

The only voice and information I'm listening for is the LORD's, by His grace I'm listening at His doorpost, instead of scouring through websites, and He is not leading me astray. DT is a double-edged sword...be careful dear brothers and sisters. Yes, sent by the Lord, in His sovereign will, but not how you are thinking and hoping. America is between and rock and a hard place. But you don't HAVE to choose between one or the other. Better to choose option #3, the only way to escape a rock and hard place.....just follow Jesus and be about HIS business, which is the gospel, and trust Him enough to leave governance to Him. If the church were to do that en masse, I believe God would even give America back to you again, and delay the inevitable for your sakes. But sadly, I don't believe the church is going to do that, except for a remnant...and certainly the church as a whole isn't choosing that option right now.

Oh believe me I have and have repented of it, lol. I have had a few choice words for our Prime Minister which I shouldn't have let escape my lips. He is just a floundering lost soul doing what lost souls do. Just as I once was. How can I hate him and at the same time be concerned for his soul?

I fully understand how galling it is to see how things are going in this world......but nothing is going to stop the fulfillment of prophecy ultimately and we need to trust that the Lord has it all in hand, and not panic. Because He absolutely does. He knows the end from the beginning and even has foretold it all. The issue is about where we are putting our TRUST....in politics and a politician or in GOD? And are in the flesh or in the spirit with these things? The flesh doesn't produce good fruit....and that is how the devil allures, through the flesh.

This is what Jesus had a problem with concerning the pharisees... they had added a lot of stuff to God's Word that... wasn't of God, that God never commanded resulting in the pharisees guilt tripping the people resulting in legalism.

It's the same with the claim that Christians are "required" to participate in politics and go to the dentist ever 6 months.

I will not be voting for Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election for many reasons, one of which is the fact that he wants to end all aid to Ukraine in their fight against Russian aggression. That will entail a Russian victory and their subsequent invasion of smaller European countries, igniting World War 3. Even worse: Trump said NATO was “obsolete” and expressed a strong desire to leave the alliance, leaving Europe to fend for itself against the Russian aggressor. This will make WW3 an even more violent conflict.

I’m not from a swing state, and as a political moderate I’m honestly not too fond of Biden, so I’m thinking about voting for RFK Jr. It won’t make any difference who I vote for because Texas will invariably go for Trump, and yeah, RFK Jr. has said some stupid things about vaccines and endorsed the asinine idea of giving black Americans reparations for slavery even though nobody today was born a slave, but my vote will mainly be a protest against Trump above all else.

I think it's so much better to fund a war based on a coup in 2014 to try and remove the President of Russia,
than to solve the conflict through Peace which Trump is proposing.
And joining NATO which is an agreement between Ukraine and Russia for Ukraine not to join Nato.
that breaking that agreement is absolutely the way to make friends.
I believe feeding the industrial military complex is much more important that providing for one's own country and citizens.
And laundery billions of tax payers dollars to fund their blood thirsty greed is commendable.
I believe sending weapons and money to Ukraine to genocide the Russian nationalists that have lived on that soil through many generations is the most democratic and christian thing to do.

Human nature is human nature everywhere, even in Canada. Right now the left wing media is making hay because the Alberta premier used the word "crosshairs" (in a figurative sense). I hope their fears are not founded. Because we who are in Christ can't join in with any literal crosshairs, even if we might sympathize with the cause.
